- Most laptop reviews cover high end laptops with top-tier specs, but what's it like buying the cheapest model of a premium laptop? In this video, InnoIso revies the entry-level Dell XPS 13 7390, sporting only a Core i3-10110U, 4GB of RAM, and 128GB of storage. At under $800, this laptop could hardly be called high end. But its excellent design, screen and keyboard contribute to an intriguing value.

High quality review. This channel should have hundreds of thousands of subscribers... Hope it will get there soon
Thank you! One sub at a time, just gotta enjoy the ride for now
Thank you for the info and your take on entry level model. Keep it up buddy 👍
Thank you for the watch and support!
Maa man innolso reviewing for the common folks and not $20,000 laptops 🙏🙏
It was so hard to find reviews of the entry level 🙄 Thank you. Even Dell doesn't have a full product page for the 2-core model. I got the 8GB version.
Do you think this will be able to handle Photoshop editing, web browsing with lots of tabs (and Video editing on occasion)?
If not, I'll be returning it as soon as I receive it. I'm thinking I made the wrong decision (thanks to trying to find discounts.)
Again, I appreciate this video!
You might be able to handle a little bit of Photoshop, depending on how complex your files are. 8GB should be able to handle most web browsing and I didn't have a problem with that. Video editing is going to be tough, what program are you using?
These laptops look and feel great, and the new Core i3s are fine for a lot of people, but not when you start throwing more at them.
@@innoiso Wondershare Filmora X is the program I use most! Thank you for replying.
thanks you
My biggest mistake purchasing a laptop in the past was getting one with an i3 processor and 4GB Ram. I just surf the web and use office365 apps. Nothing too intensive. The laptop essentially became too slow even for this usage within 2 months. Never again
Did it have a hard drive or an SSD? A lot of the time the biggest bottleneck for performance is a hard drive
@@innoiso that one had a HDD. For sure never going back to HDD
Got an open box i7 8gb ram for $750. Pretty happy with it.
Nice job! Should still be an impressive device
Dell has this on sale for $649 with i3, 8GB RAM, and 256GB SSD.
Not bad, if you only want a good browsing PC that might be a good choice
I bought the i7 10510U with 16Gb and 512Gb SSD and 4K touch because I very rarely upgrade, I just want thread speed not super many threads, I use VPN to work and RDP to my workstation but I wanted something that could do some entertainment stuff at the same time. Never had touch until now so I wanted to try it...
That's pretty specced out! Awesome, hope you like it!
Is Dell Xps with 8 gb ram is good for Graphic Designing?
I've never done graphic design, but it depends on how complex the files you're working with. It might be able to handle it near term, but might not be future proof
@@innoiso Thank you! Pls make a video on budget friendly laptops for graphic designing. I am very confused, it will be very helpful.
Do you know the price range to fix the xps 7390 screen please respond
What is broken with yours?
@@innoiso I left I’m headphones between the screen and keyboard and it crack. Do you know where I could find a xps 13 7390 screen replacement
I'd normally check eBay for replacements, or some screen websites. If it's touch then it will likely cost a bit more. A lot of places sell the entire top panel as a unit, which will cost more but be an easier replacement.
@@innoiso Good thing it’s not a touch screen lol, can you recommend some screen websites plz
I usually use partspeople and laptopscreen for replacement parts.
