I like the way you show everything and explain your thought process. I’m setting up a “lab” to test my theories. Some of which you have put into practice. I think we think similarly.
You should also do a draw test at half throttle. My setup draws 10-1 full throttle and 8-1 about 1/3 revs. Handy trick if you just need a little hotter mix 👌. (6.5gpm, Honda GX690)
@@housewashing5693 I want to see that bad boy in action when you rinse down a house LOL. Two days ago the maintenance guy at the apartment complex I live in came to me in a bind. They usually clean all the breezeways and sub out cleaning the building. They've got a cheap Generac pressure washer that somebody left outside in the rain for several weeks. He knew I was doing this on the side so he set me up with the property manager. Should know Tuesday if they accepted my bid. Only 10 out of the 22 buildings have breezeways. 10 hours max at $1500, easy peezy. Now I hope to get all 22 buildings and 15 garages because that's going to be a sweet payday.
Just out of curiosity.. how do you know you were at 2800 psi? You had the M5 wide open so that's more flow/less pressure and you had no guage on the line...
With the m5 it's much less than 2800. I tested the pressure by squeezing down a ball valve. I need to test my m5's to see what the pressure is. I'll make a video
@@housewashing5693 the other thing I noticed is when you did the first injection test you said it was about 15 gallons.. looked like 14 to me regardless it was calculated at a 15 to one ratio. Which in reality there was one gallon of that 15that was "bleach" so that would be a 14 to1 ratio Small details... lol. Enjoy your vids so when I play devil's advocate take it with a pinch of salt....
Very informative I'm curious how happy are you with The predator motor setup? I'm looking to purchase a used pressure washing trailer setup with two predator washers on the trailer just curious how happy are you with the performance? Craigslist purchase Respectfully Jack
Hey there I recently followed your videos on doing the 670 build I got everything together and I’m having some pressure issues? Would you by chance have any tips or tricks to improve my output?
Nice I'm building the mini version.. 420cc predator with comet 4k psi/ 4gpm and amazon skid plate.. $850 total.. will be building one of your rigs once I get a bigger trailer and IBC tote
@Seattle ProWash Yes it is. But like most small engines the high idle was set at 3200 rpm from the factory. I adjusted it to 3600 like it's supposed to be. This makes a huge difference.
Thanks for the video your draw rate would be 14:1 with one barb and 10:1 with 2 barbs because 1 gallon of water in each test would have been your soap drawn from your injector👍
@@housewashing5693 yeah that would work well on almost all vinyl siding, if you buy gallons of shock you can downstream it straight but if you buy it in 55’s it’s quite a bit hotter and would want to water it down. Where I get mine it’s real hot and I water it down 50/50 for downstreaming

The answer I hate the most when asking a question is "That's the way we've always did it"

That's incredible output for the price.
Right. I still can't believe it

No issues. It works great
Where did you get the gas tank from?

Make sure your engine is running at 3600 rpm's. Did you adjust your unloader?
how is this pressure washer holding up after a year?
Really good.
What brand hose are you using kevin

With a 4gpm machine you won't need a buffer tank. Or just get a 100 gallon tank. This way it will keep up when you go bigger.
@@housewashing5693 I want a buffer tank to dump the bypass into. Gotta find a tank for cheap if I can. They are so expensive right now
@@bankruptsee Tank shipping is crazy. You can buy a pump and tank all set up with free shipping cheaper than the wash store prices.
@@housewashing5693 Yeah I'm eyeing Tractor Supply but prices are stil so high right now

1/2 in unloaded. AR gearbox.

It's easy to do

I ended up setting it at 3000psi

Use two barbs and cut bleach in half with water in your tanks. That’s what I do and saves me a fortune.
15 total gallons would be a 14:1 ratio
You're right. Thanks
YOu are not getting 2500psi at the end of the hose, only at the machine, if you put your guage at the nozzle u might get about 1200psi.
When I put my pressure gauge right before my ball valve and open my ball valve right to the point that the pressure starts dropping it reads 3000 lbs.
