- Andrew bought a 1979 C10 Square Body as his new shop truck. Like any truck you see on this channel we had to make some revisions. In this video, we start the conversion of this long bed truck with Ekstensive Metal Works 2 link air ride kit with their C notch and pan hard bar on the rear suspension. Air suspension is a staple in our shop trucks and we will be using Slam Specialities bags, Viair 444 compressor, manual paddle valves, along with half inch air lines to round out a basic setup. On this truck we will be using US Wheels Hot Rod Series 20" steelies with square body S10 dog dish hud caps. Look for part 2 of the rear suspension installation kit coming soon.

Awesome work guys!
Thank you!
I had a long bed Big 10 this same color about 14 years ago. Wish I had kept it. Already looking forward to seeing the next installment on this build.
Thank you! Next installment will be out in a few days!
love your videos guys. i have a c10 im working on and you guys make it look easy
Thank you! Just take your time and do the research!
I started the rear of my ekstensive 2 link kit on my 88 s10 sbc 350 on Sunday an I'm ready to weld everything in besides panhard bar an mounts on axle for pinion angle
Nice! Welding it in is my favorite part!
Transports suck for offset. I've never liked them.
Those use U.S. Wheel steelies are cool. And with that teal green, white is definitely the way to go on 'em. 👍
What size are your 2 link bars? 30' or 36'?
I'm not sure, whatever comes in the kit
How much for the civic?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can I ask you a question on your link perch mounts? Can I get your email to message you
The truck belongs to Andrew Quartucy. Check him out on Instagram @soggybottomspeedshop he can probably answer more questions as far as drivability!
Dang no IG lol my question is do you set your perches bolted up, set your pinion angle, then stitch up?
@@rjsalinas03 correct! Bring truck to ride height, bolt up the perches, Make everything square and even side to side, then measure pinion angle equal and opposite to angle of tail housing on the transmission.
You are awesome man! You and another shop outta GA. are truly big help! Big thanks from Cali!!
@@rjsalinas03 glad I could help! Be sure to tell all your friends 😄
Twenty minutes in and you guys are still yacking with little work on the actual project. Unsubscrided. Sorry.
Sorry for the lack of entertainment, we were trying to explain the plan and show all the parts in detail. Hopefully you'll give us another chance in the future!
