Maximum Low! on the C10: Air Ride Suspension Install Challenge

- In this second installment of our 1987 Square Body C10 series, we embark on the complex journey of installing an air ride suspension. My aim was a consistent lay out between the front and rear, but the front presented unique challenges. Through precision welding and innovative problem-solving, we've approached a solution that achieves significant lowering without resorting to a full body drop or chassis swap. There's still more fine-tuning ahead, but the results so far are promising. Your feedback and support is invaluable. Please like, share, and subscribe to follow the progress. #C10Restoration #SuspensionInnovation

Awesome work. You're always on your a-game when it comes to solving problems. I admire that.
Love the trouble shooting process. You're very knowledgeable. You're the last of the true mechanic/fabricator breed. Not like these new techs that rely on the computer.
Slambox is so super dope! C10 is coming along great too!
Yes this build is so awesome, can’t wait to see it finished.
Looking good Adam you are making great progress on the Truck, as always with your builds the current one is going to be better than the previous one👏👍John UK
Cant wait to see the wheels you got; looks amazing!
Just found your channel. Looking good so far. Let me go get caught up.
Love what you're doing, keep up the great work.
Love the content, been one of my favorite channels for a long time. Been watching since pepto. Got my submission in for the slam box!Just opened up my own HVAC company (High Performance Heating & AC) I told my wife that eventually I would love to have a old truck with a box bed on air ride so I could pull up to a job , air out and just roll the new units off. Fingers crossed luck is on my side. No matter what, I’m happy to support the channel brother
Great progress Adam! I love these spider web things. Have a good one. Regards Nico.
I love this truck build. I hope it gets its frame sandblasted and fullly painted. Its definitively a too nice truck to just rattle can the metal added.
Spider web gussets were a 10/10 choice! Another awesome video Bode! You’ve definitely sold me on the DJI mic. Think I’ll pair them up with a Sony ZV-1F to start.
That mic has been the best investment for my production by far!
@@BodeVision I’m guessing the receiver is able to plug right into the camera so you don’t have to sync the audio in post since it’s already synced up?
Nice thats the right stuff 👍 cant wait too see how low does it go 🤔
I love the Slambox!
Just cup your lower control arms and install drop spindles
She is looking killer Bro I love it
Low & awesome man!
Ya 2” drop spindles should do the trick. I had to “z” the frame on my Toyota to get it to lay flat. Looks good man
Aswome. I love squarebody content
This is gonna be hard son
Awesome truck! Where is the 4link and pan hard bar from?
Let's get it my boy
A motorcycle build would be dope af!!!
Awesome work thanks for sharing the process on this square body..if possible can you share were to get this kit or parts list
Sick!
Damn I love low trucks
Oh my this beautiful truck….let’s get it.. I wish I had somebody over here in vegas to teach me.. love the bags.. this truck me and my uncle built on Oahu pink c10… still love that ford to.. I like that spiderweb piece that you added in there so much detail you do freaking love it
Thanks for watching
@@BodeVision you are very welcome bro… love the channel
@@BodeVision I was telling Uncle remind me of him what he does a lot of cars. He builds a lot of trucks and cars over. I told him when I get my tundra one of these days we’re gonna build it here in Vegas.
Is this your truck or are u building for someone? I trust ya to work on my stuff n do whatever u wanted skills are legit!!
😎
My uncle would have worn that hat way better. Love the videos been Following ever since u did Kyle's wago
I love it ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I about choked on my sandwich when he said, "I got my welding Crocs on."
Kool as, did you notch the front upper arm to clear steering bar when layed out
Looking really good Adam, get it down.....have you done bags on a regular car before? Good job man!
Bodie how about cutting the lower a arm just before the ball joint and doing a step raising the ball joint up to give you a drop a arm 🤔😊👍🏼🤙🏽❤️
Great videos, did you discuss pinion angle though?
Hell yea brothhhheer!!
Loving the design of the air bag suspension this truck clean asf #bodesqaud #projectboxtruck
Yeah man! And we’re going with all mechanical simple switches. No no electric valves needed. Lots more to come
Do you have to do a brace on the steering pump? I’ve seen where people have had to do that because the pump twist when lowered and turning while driving.
Let's go 😮
Dumb question. I have an 01 Silverado full size pickup my grandpa gave me a while back. Don’t want to ride to low. Sitting factory stance. What’s the best way to drop the back? If I had a square I would drop the whole thing but just testing the waters a little bit.
Question . I have a 77 with a 250 with a 3 speed . I bagged it should I have to shorten the drive shaft ?
😎👍
How come you chose a Panhard instead of a Watts Link? I’m preparing for bags on my c10 and just curious why you did.
I did my front the same way. Just welded a plate on the control arm and it lays on the crossmember
👊👊👊👊👊
What brand is the c notch kit and 4 link kit?
With all the custom work with the front, how many more inches did you gain? Did the cross member layout? Maximum low? lol
Put rims on the slam box😊😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤❤
Who’s 4 link is that?
Can you post links to the 4 link and everything you used please.

Why the strut bags?
Those bags are going to have a hole rubbed into them within a year. I made the same mistake in 1995.
First!
I thought your next project was going to be lifting a truck?
I don’t have a big enough shop for that
It's cool. I've lifted every truck/4wheeler I've had for 45 years. Have a Ranger now I'm interested in dropping, so I love watching your videos, though I don't think I want to go to the extreme of air bags or cut notches in my frame.
You should’ve been using airbag suspension not those type of strut bags
