    Hello everyone my name is SHYJU RAJU.
    Welcome to my CZcams channel SR COMPUTER EDUCATION
    This video will explain in detail how to do encryption using hill cipher for 3×3 matrix.
    In this video I had also show how to do modular operation and find the result of modulus operation very easily and quickly.
    After watching this video student will be able to solve hill cipher encryption of 33 matrix very easily in examination.
    In this video I had also given link for the other video in which I had shown how to find result of modular operation very easily and very quickly using calculator.
    This video show the shortcut method to find modular operation result within seconds.
    Hill cipher encryption 3×3 matrix is very important and mostly commonly asked question in examination.

    • @SRCOMPUTEREDUCATION
      @SRCOMPUTEREDUCATION  Před 6 lety +4

      Farzam Anjum good question, for example "shyj" is your plaintext then you have to make 2 groups such as "shy" and "jxx" then solve this example as per my method which is shown in this video, I will be happy to solve if you have any doubt, I want my channel to known to every students , please share my channel with everyone you know so that they can also learn everything freely from my CZcams channel. @FarzamAnjum Před 6 lety

      Sure awesome thank you!
      One more question: What if the key is not given, do we have a choice to consider key of 2x2 or maybe 3x3 matrix of our own choice?
      And when we select a 2x2 matrix we'll be bound to make chunks of 2, right?
      Thanks!

    • @SRCOMPUTEREDUCATION
      @SRCOMPUTEREDUCATION  Před 6 lety +1

      Key will be given in exam, and if its not given then there should be clearly mentioned in the question that whether you have to take 3by3 or 2by2 matrix, Yes you are absolutely right , you have to make chunks accordingly, if 2by2 matrix is given then always make group of two letters together, I hope you got some knowledge from my videos, and I am sure you might have also subscribed to my channel, also make sure that your friends also subscribe to my channel so that they can also know and learn from my channel SR COMPUTER EDUCATION. SR COMPUTER EDUCATION in above example we have taken [0
      2
      19]
      Like this. Here we taken just 1 column and then multiplied
      But if we take the plain text as
      [0 2 19] as in just one row and then we multiplied the answer will be changed
      That is what my question is
      As the plain text is taken in 1 column and 3 rows after multiplication we get [67
      222
      319]
      But if i take the plain text in single row and then multiplied i got the ans is [406 355 305]

    The correct way to find Mod is
    For example if we've a number 67 then 67÷26 it will be equal to 2.57 then 'subtract' the number before the decimal point u'll get 0.57 and then by multiplying it with 26 you'll get 14.99 which after round off become 15 .
    Otherwise if you just simply divide 67 by 26 you'll get 2.57.

      2.57 is the quotient and modulo gives the remainder. 67/26 gives remainder 15 which is the answer to 67mod26
