      @TheWinjin Před 4 lety +46

      @@myredute I think the point is that thieves prefer subtler, more quiet things, than an angle grinder, screaming at 18mm of hardened steel, twice (if I understand correctly, you have to cut both sides of the lock in order to get it to open, they won't turn around). If the thieve has an access to the lock, and time and possibility to use an angle grinder - there's literally no way anything can withstand that kind of assault. It's not really the sword-armor situation anymore))

      @myredute Před 4 lety +11

      @@TheWinjin Makes no difference. If a thieving arsehole wants to steal your property, it's gone, no matter what you use. The whole idea is quickness of the action & if it can be done quickly although with a bit of noise, the cops will take their sweet-arse time no matter what happens!

He always remains calm even in the most dire situations. He taught me that when you panic, you lack the ability to think clear and fast. So after 15 years, I have trained myself to remain calm in most situations. People think we are such cruel parents because when our daughter falls, we dont run to pick her up like everyone else. We stay calm and ask her if shes ok. We learned that if we start panicking, she will cry. But as long as we dont react, she will get back up and keep going. As a result, our daughter is the toughest kid out on the soccer field with the strongest kick in the league.

    Those cutters put out 12 tons (24,000lbs) of force.
    I was apart of the marketing team that designed and first sold these cutters.
    They are actually hydraulic rebar cutters.
    We made these cutters, aswell as a smaller design the YQK-70 with its chassis used for wire crimping. The small version can put out 12,000lbs (6 tons) of force about half as much as the rebar cutter. You can get a mini one to put in your pocket, and change out the crimping end tool with the rebar cutter end and get a small concealable hydraulic mini bolt cutters.
    We eventually after several prototypes, sold the patents for the rebar cutter and wire crimps to the Chinese.

      @@xxXthekevXxx there's scientific research showing that screaming does actually help to blow off stress and reduce perception of physical pain (which is why we moan/scream when we get hurt).
      The fact that he didn't (audibly) flinch when the piece of steel flew off is kind of impressive, though he did say that he was kind of expecting it already
