Three years in my completely loaded XT4. 30k miles. Four oil changes and that is it. Never had a warranty issue and all of the bells and whistles work perfectly. 27 mpg around town. My 2019 BMW X5 has had so many issues I cannot count. Cadillac CUE works perfectly.

This is by far superior to a Buick. But personal preference is the decision maker. I on the other hand bought the XT4 and love it. MPG 26 mixed driving. The right amount of torque when I need it. Beautiful interior with real metal, wood, and/or carbon fiber trims. Yes the lower out of sight bits are hard plastic but that does not detract from the overall ambiance of upscale clean

One thing that I have come to realize when watching car reviewers such as this is that you have to remind yourself that much of what is being spoken of the car by the reviewer is largely personal opinion rather than objective, empirical information. While that is certainly true for Consumer Reports, it is not necessarily true for others and Cars.com is no different. While watching this person, I noticed that he was speaking of the XT4, especially the interior, much of what he said was what I equated to opinion and frankly unnecessary opinion. Come on, "the screen is tilted in a fashion that it produces glare", really?? As if that is the ultimate deal breaker. I think the XT4 is a milestone improvement over what Cadillac was producing 20 years ago. Well done, Cadillac.

I bought a XT4 in Dec, sold it in Feb. Over all, a poor experience with my first ever Cadillac. First problem is, there is NO NEEDLE on the gas gauge, or temp gauge... Making them difficult to read while driving. There are very SMALL LIGHTS next to the gauge. I was afraid I would at some point run out of gas with this thing, and I finally did... STUPID IDEA CADILLAC... To make matters worse, the gas milage is poor and the tank size is small... So, plan on running out of gas a lot, or marry yourself to that STUPID GAS GAUGE LIGHT. Or buy a Chevy, or GMC or Honda, they still put needles on their gas gauges.... STUPID !!
