I have a 2010/11 Audi R8 at my store and my costumer want to make The start stop works at The steering Wheel but his Car have no OEM start stop buttom. He order The wire kits exacly like you install at The vídeo but i dont know How to make It work in a Car With no oem start stop buttom. Can you help me With this ? Tnks, i am Mario from Brazil. it depends, if you have dual or single but the wheel maker, does the adaptation for you

Bro quick question if i go down this route to enable my car to start from the push button do i need to wire my car to have push start engine in the centre console or can i hook it up right from the steering wheel
Same with the drive select button i enabled it on my a5 without the buttons on the mmi area but would i be able to hook it up directly to the steering wheel?

So the factory multifunctional switch 6 pin connector, just connects to the 4pin (with only 3 wires attached) on the new airbag harness? Even though it used to be 6pin to 6pin?
No they make adapters to match your wheel,

hold on! so if I have an automatic gearbox but no paddles, if i got a steering wheel with paddles, could i program the gearbox to respond to them?? I cant seem to find any dsg a4s so this would be great if it was possible. please let me know!!
Yes 100% all you need is the wheel, your car will automatically be adaptive to the wheel with paddles all you have to do is unlock it with obdeleven or vag, check out this video

No that’s from my custom seats , airbag igniters, I just took out the fuse to run some power stuff, forgot to put it back in, it was there before

I got the same retrofit package from ask carbon but the yellow connector on the new airbag is different (has a white clip instead of green). the new harness does not fit. i tried shaving off part of the plastic to make it work however im not getting any power. im confused how u got the b8.5 connector on your airbag. did it come like that or did u have to rewire the harness?
They did the wiring for me, you should reach back out, they can send you a plug already set up for yours 💪💪💪
They are helping me rewire the b9 plug to work fingers crossed! my b9 airbag has the linbus to canbus module already, just need to swap some of the pins within the yellow connector to get power. will keep u updated!

@@zGiGi yeh it definitely will work, they use the same can bus system, but i would look at the pics to see if the bottoms are similar, and he does not have the virtual cock pit, as they will be buttons you wont use, also make sure your airbag will fit, and its the same stage, dual or single, i just got with one of my audi tech buddy's from the dealer.
@@brucecustommotors he got the virtual cockpit keep in mind that he removed the buttons from is stering wheel to put on is new carbon fiber wheel for is Audi S3 2018 so the wheel comes with no buttons and no airbag only the cover of the airbag i got picture if you want to see it.

Omg everyone seems to think that the steering wheel bolt is a T55 …………. It’s a spline people, u are better of using a Allen key but stick to the 12point tools
