- Eleanor Audley (Disney's Maleficent herself!) is, besides her Disney infamy, probably most famous for appearing in three episodes of the wildly-popular sitcom "The Beverly Hillbillies" as Jethro's long-suffering Headmistress/Teacher, Millicent Schuyler Potts.
This episode, "Jethro Goes to School", is her first appearance and I bring it to you in its entirety! The episode aired on November 14th, 1962 and is the eighth episode of the first season.
Fun Fact: Fellow Disney voice actress Lisa Davis appears in this episode as Potts' secretary, Diana. She is best known for voicing Anita in 101 Dalmatians!
Also featured is a favorite character actress of mine and many, Bea "Betty Rubble" Benaderet!
Cast:
Buddy Ebsen ... Jed Clampett
Irene Ryan ... Daisy Moses
Donna Douglas ... Elly May Clampett
Max Baer Jr. ... Jethro Bodine
Bea Benaderet ... Cousin Pearl Bodine
Frank Wilcox ... John Brewster
Phil Gordon ... Jasper 'Jazzbo' Depew
Eleanor Audley ... Mrs. Millicent Schuyler-Potts
Lisa Davis ... Diana - Hudba
This woman had a voice that carried elegance and power!!! Her laugh for Maleficent was just perfect!!!
Elenore Audley has a voice like NO ONE! Her powerful laugh, elegant, intimidating, and *BOLD* She also did Cinderella's step mother I think.
It's Eleanor Audley the actress who was very known by voicing Cinderella's Stepmother and Maleficent
Maleficent! 😍
It is always good to have a mortgage as a little persuasion
LOL her face when Jethro says "Well hidey there Ms. Potts!"
Most people: See Lady Tremaine/Maleficent.
Me: Sees Tremaine/Maleficent, and George E. Russell.
It's interesting hearing cartoon voices coming out of a real person
