- Eleanor Audley (Disney's Maleficent herself!) appeared four times on the classic 60s sitcom Hazel.
This second appearance is from "Herbert for Hire", the 13th episode of the second season and aired on December 20th, 1962. (I've noted that there are two parts to her appearance, as usually Audley only appears in one scene.)
Audley appears as Mrs. Totter, a stockholder who isn't afraid to ask for drastic changes in the way the company operates. Of course, Hazel (Shirley Booth) knows how to smooth her over. - Hudba
Hearing Maleficent say "He's cute!" just made my day.
So this scene hooked me up with this show and honestly after watching some of it, it's very funny! I had never heard of Shirley Booth but she's pretty fun!
She was also the voice of lady Tremaine or the evil stepmother in Cinderella
I Hear More of Lady Tremaine here than Maleficent here in this Scene...

Lady Tremaine. Her voice is so iconic and so unique and when she speaks you know it's the Disney villain. It's so interesting some people have such interesting voices.

The Christmas episode, when Hazel worked part-time at Masterson's for gift money, and Eleanor purchased at a "terrible price," kid gloves. Hazel tried to persuade her to not have these gloves gift-wrapped with "pink paper and orange ribbon, not very Christmasy," according to Hazel.
I never took Maleficent for comedy type🤣

@David C. .. she was great in that role as Oliver’s mother .I tried a unisex hair salon while away at college instead of a barber shop .she reminds me a lot of a woman in the shop that shampooed my hair..
