Eleanor Audley as a Mother-for-Hire on TV's "How to Marry a Millionaire" featuring Barbara Eden 1957

Eleanor Audley (Disney's Maleficent herself!) lends her services as a Gertrude Van Dyne, an actress who takes on the role of mother-for-hire for some young ladies hoping to impress (including a very young Barbara Eden)! This episode, "Society Mother", of the short-lived show was based on the film of the same name starring Marilyn Monroe and Lauren Bacall.
Episode Synopsis: "The girls get into hot water when they sneak into the swanky 'Yacht Club' and meet eligible millionaires under the pretense of being rich society women."
