I've seen the episode about the lady and her pillow. At one point, she talks about being sexually abused as a child and that her pillow was her only confidant at the time. So. That definitely puts things in perspective.

My grandma’s friend’s husband just passed and she’s started to do what the First Lady does. She doesn’t take the urn everywhere, but she recently took him on “holiday” when she went on a boat trip, and let him “drive the boat”. She still talks to him like he’s there. It’s absolutely heartbreaking. He was just larger than life and now a huge presence is gone. It’s really really sad people do this. Thanks for the respect Daz xx

@@horrorpickles thank you so much for asking. I caught up with her recently, she’s more in the “acceptance” phase now. She knows he’s gone and has had a lot of support from her and his children. She’s pretty much through it, but she still struggles that he’s gone.

I appreciate that from him because I have a skin picking addiction. I’ve had it since I was little. I think it comes from a mixture of anxiety and ocd. It’s a horrid thing to deal with because it feels good in the moment but then you hate yourself for it because you’re harming your body and you don’t want to but you can’t help it. Thankfully it’s gotten a it better for me now but I’m still struggling with it.

I'm 14 and still have the torn up and shabby blanket I was given when I was 2 years of age. I hold it whenever I'm stressed out because it reminds me of when I was carefree and completely full of joy, those times are gone and I now only have this blanket to remember them by.
Some of these 'strange addictions' are really just coping mechanisms

Me too, I can't really express how much I appreciate it. He could just leave it and miss a few subs from the massive count he has already but he actually CARES. He gets it, bullying and difficulties with mental struggles etc. It benefits a lot to save the few seconds of potential torture for people who actually want to see it. The thing about pulling hair out of a drain is that it's simple, yet productive; it makes sense; it's something he can control; and it can't lead to any type of tragedy. But I think the main one is that it's something that he can control. His father was ripped from him suddenly, and life seems so chaotic and uncontrollable to him. So cleaning the drain gives him comfort in a way.

Don't be ashamed of that teddy! I have a teddy bear named Mr bearington von stuffy I have had since age 5, I'm 31 years old now. I could give a hoot if anyone judges that. I vividly remember getting the bear, and vaguely remember why it was given to me by a lady named Mrs Armstrong and the memories of the following conversation are blacked out for a reason but the bear was and has always been my safety net, i brought him to every sleepover I ever went to and my friends would poke fun but I didn't care so they eventually let it be, and when I pass on I will have my bear with me then too. To others it's an object but for us it has meaning and that's worth a lot.

when I was a kid, my mum and dad were always arguing and shouting, and I felt like I couldn't talk to anyone so a stuffed teddy bear was the only one I could talk to. I was six though, but I still told this bear all my secrets. I'm 12 now, and sometimes when I've had a really bad day, I'll tell it and when I fall asleep I'll be hugging it, so I get the one about the pillow. I don't take bear everywhere though. just in my room

Daz is the most caring youtuber ever and i love his videos so much, they helped through dark times and he always made me laugh. i never really had a father figure and he is basically the father ive always wanted.
I'm recovering from Self-harm, and I've seen other CZcamsrs react to all of these but I wanted to see his reaction. The last one, the way he didn't show it because it could be triggering, it hit me at the heart.
