English grammar rules are a real pain in the neck! For example, for how long have you been learning present tense, past tense and future tense? But you are still making mistakes, right? (not everyone, though). One of the best ways to learn English grammar rules and tenses is by learning from common grammatical mistakes. In this lesson you will learn 5 very common mistakes and how to avoid them!
For many students, learning English grammar, learning different grammar rules and grammar tenses as well as different types of sentences is very boring. English grammar is often difficult to deal with. But, if you want to learn English , grammar is inevitable! Why is that?
The English language has 6 main aspects to learn: 2 systems and 4 skills
Systems are: English grammar and English vocabulary
Skills are: Speaking, Reading, Writing and Listening
To fully learn the English language from 0 to 100, you have to focus on all these 6 aspects, and of course, the systems are the base for the rest! learning English grammar is very crucial if you want to speak fluently and improve your English listening, reading and writing skills.
Below are other lessons about common English Grammar mistakes that I posted before. Make sure you watch them and avoid these mistakes!

I told her that I had finished" is the correct answer.
When we talk about two actions that happened in the past, we use the Past Perfect Tense to talk about the action that took place first.eg.' I had finished' other.
Another example: The bell had already rung when I reached the school.
Thanks 👍
Correct answer : I told her that I had finished. The tense of this sentence is past perfect you use it when you talk about the past and you wanna talk what you have done before. So it's actually an action before the past.
Thank you.
I told her that I had finish .... not finished....
@@umarsdubaishorts9472 😱
Thanks
@@umarsdubaishorts9472 No......finished!....because past perfect tense....had plus past participle

Hi Maddy ,you are a versatile teacher, your teaching skills and informations are really seems "PIECE OF CAKE". THANK YOU BRO 👍👍👍
It is information.it is regarded as plural.
❤️❤️❤️
Perhaps information is an uncountable noun bro. Hope u don't mind
I told her that I had finished. I have been following your channel for the past several weeks and will continue to do so in the years to come. Thank you!😊
I told her that I had finished, why?
1 / we have 2 clauses, ( to tell) & ( to finish)
2/ both clauses in the past
3/ let ask ourselves ( which action comes first) to tell or to finish
4/ of course '' to finish'' therefore the fist action in past perfect, the second action in the past
@@kinuux so, the right sentence is ..?
Great Mr.Arkak ❤️❤️
since I started learning English ''i think 3 or 4 months ago '' I started a new program (watching videos in English, listening to music in English, writing the acquired vocabulary....)But it's a little weird that even if I do all this I still have problems in English, it is true that there is a very little change but I can't write essays ,i can't understand native speakers when they speak I always need subtitles because they speak quickly. WHAT SHOULD I DO PLEASE ? please correct if there're any mistakes
In my opinion, there may be various reasons for that. Learning a new language requires years. You have to practice as much as you can. Your progress is going normal. By the way, l don't recommend learning English by listening to music until you're at least an upper-intermeiate student or higher. Because, even professionals can find English music difficult to fully understand. Just keep learning and practicing. This is the only solution l think.
Don't worry my friend you just have been learning English for 3 months. three months of learning English it's not enough.
so take this advice from me, you have to practice your English more and more and more and you have to make learning English ideally routine, for example, I have been learning English for 3 years. so please don't be frustrated, believe in yourself, and believe that three months or maybe four months of learning English and practicing English is not enough.
@@shohnurazizov70 thank you very much for your advice
@@shddadhameed4032 thank you very much for your advice
you should learn how pronounce to words
Thank you so much. You are a good teacher. I ' m from sri lanka.
God Bless u !!!!!!!
Grazie.
Wow... thanks...I now knw how to use correctly...🤓
I like your style and i am learning English from you.. Am from Pakistan
I told that I had finished.
As I told is simple past so next should be perfect past.
Maddy Sir pls correct me if I am wrong.
Good job guy, congrats
I love ur way of expression so muchh
I am happy because I knew the answer, it's because that's a past perfect tense, and in the past perfect tense because it's express about two action that happened in the past , In that case we the first action should be a present perfect and the second action just past simple.
Hi Maddy , your lessons are really fabulous , I have learnt a lot of information from your lesson , your speach is really comprehensible and mentionable . Thanks for everything 🖤🖤
Good teacher
you are the best teacher in the World
Hi I am Blen 6 years old and my mom,s anser is I told her I had finished .Thank you!
Plz teach us tenses
I always respect your all videos.From Qatar 🇶🇦 ✌️
thank you, shifuu
Thanks Maddy for your efforts . l would ask you about the first example you have mentioned in the first of this class you said that "when we talk about an action that happened in a specific time we use past continues then at the end you said that we use simple past when we talk about an action that happened in a specific time ?
It makes me confused.
With my greetings from Egypt
Amazing video
Glad you think so!
intéressant .
The first sentence must simple present and second sentence is present perfect
"I told her that I have finished" saying "I have finished" is wrong because this is a reported speech. We should say "I had finished" or "finished"
You are so cool 😎 how you can explain difficult to easy
