Wow, I was quite surprised with the 'cara' slang meaning. It's similar in Polish when you can address someone with 'morda' or 'mordka' (diminutive) which means 'snout' or 'mug':)
In Venezuela we say "bello" in the same context as "beleza" in Brazil... in English means the same "beauty". That's so cool!
Here in Brazil we also use "beleza" to agree with something, like:
*Ei, bora assistir um filme?*
(Hey, lets watch a movie?)
*Beleza!*
(Okay!)
But the slang "beleza" doesn't mean "beauty", it means "ok!", "cool!", "alright". The formal word "beleza" means "beauty", the slang doesn't.

"Eita" seems like "Wow" or "Only S..." , i think the "Beleza" is really "beauty" or "pretty" , but can be like "okay" or "no problem" , many of these are probably only used in Brazil and any other place like Portugal or Angola whose language is also portuguese
O português brasileiro se distanciou muito do português europeu, é muito comum ver apenas o português brasileiro como o representante do idioma. Nunca ví ninguém aqui no Brasil chamar Dublagem de (dobragem) Café da manhã de (pequeno almoço) Suco de (sumo) etc. Já nos outros países que falam português sempre sabem as palavras brasileiras, por conta da influência do Brasil na TV na música e na Internet.
Beleza does means beuty, but as a slang we use it in Brazil to ask if everything is okay and to answer it as well, like: "beleza (everything okay)? / beleza (yeah, it's fine)!
I'm not sure about Portugal and Angola, but I saw some people from there saying they learn our slangs by watching novelas so it's possible

Yes, as a brazillian who speaks both english and spanish, we make kinda of a portuguese mixed with spanish, in my case i heard spanish speakers having conversations all the time and i have a good ear, so i know the words of portuguese that they know and like to use that are on both languages and i also know a lot of spanish words, so for me its like speaking portuguese but with spanish accent, i feel very fine speaking spanish, almost like its portuguese.

In Rio de Janeiro we normally use "Cara" for men and women, but this is no natural in the whole country, people from others states find this a little bit strange.

in Portugal we use flipar as well as a trip or to relate to something amazing, but i think it depends the zone, still nowadays isnt much used as well, about chulo... just dont say that word in portugal :) ahhah it might mean 2 things and both are not good.
We also say "que se passa" and not "oi" in Portugal, most probably a Olá, que se passa tudo bem?

No Brasil tem a palavra Chula. Mas é como uma palavra feia. É como um xingamento, uma palavra que ofende. Palavra VULGAR. Exemplo: a mãe repreende o filho dizendo:"não fale essas palavras chulas".
Chula é uma dança popular do norte de Portugal. Pessoas usam a palavra chula especificamente para atribuir algo como sendo "coisa de pobre e portanto ruim" como funk carioca por exemplo é "chulo". Ninguém usa essa palavra para musicas clássicas por exemplo. Seu exemplo: "não fale essas palavras chulas" poderia continuar com "porque isso é coisa de mal educado" coisa que era (?) comum em família pobres não terem acesso a escola.

In Brazilian portuguese we say the days of the week literally as
Domingo (Sunday)
Segunda feira (second = monday)
Terça feira (third = tuesday)
Quarta Feira (fourth = wednesday)
Quinta Feria (fifth = thursday)
Sexta Feira (sixth = friday)
Sábado (saturday)
Differently of spanish that they use the names of the planets (miercules...)

In Asturias (North spain) sextaferia was a day where people do a public service in their village, like clean the street, reparing the roads... mostly the fridays (viernes) so its related.
That's cuz in portuguese and in some cases, in galician, unlike spanish(castilian) and italian, for example, the names of the days of the weeks are based on a biblical origin (the six or five days of Creation) while in spanish the Roman/Greek origin is still adopted (names of gods).
