Oh yeah, this was probably the coldest you've ever experienced.. it was that for many young Finns too, coldest winter in 20 years. I've only experienced really one colder winter than this, in... 1986. So, fairly rare that it is this cold.
I've had to do snow removal in my parents house every winter, it is surprisingly hard. This winter i hadn't had to do that, at least not yet. We did enforce and fix the roof on the patio that was the weakest.. since dad hasn't called, i can only assume it is fairing just well. But, it is surprisingly hard job, even more when you got to use a ladder.. then it is mostly one handed, and the ladder is on top of snow so.. not that stable..

Hey, I'm doing this right now. I have over 3 feet icy dunes on my roof and not gonna find out can my roof carry it's weight.
Every third year one large hall-type building will collapse because they didn't mind the snow. Insurance usually does not cover these "human-errors".

Yeah it’s best to take it off honestly
      Especially if it’s old
Besides even if it’s strong one day it’ll break and if you take it off before it becomes too heavy it’ll last longer

That title makes no sense, is it auto-correct mistake?
