The suburban areas are really the coziest. All the snow on the trees and Christmas lights make it perfect, plus the snow makes everything really quiet.

The crunching noise of the snow under foot is fabulous!
Gosh!!! As a Brazilian who's never seen or been in snowfall, and who is currently standing a 35C outdoor temp on a soggy morning, this was a great and invaluable video. It is so silent, calm, beautiful, and eerily respectful that I would be a bit scared of going out in the middle of the night! It looks like a white version of a nuclear fallout! Who knows one day I visit Helsinki and you in turn visit Rio during summertime. Sure you gonna find it interesting too! Cheers! PS: Just outta curiosity... what was the mean temperature during your walk?
Good evening Martius, first of all greetings from Finland. These weather conditions can indeed seem a bit intimidating, but personally they are the most fun to walk in.
Rio de Janeiro has beautiful scenery, definitely worth a visit.
The coldest temperature was in Scene #3: with -9°c and strong wind.

@@jogolock1190I live in London and we get less rain than Malta, Rome and Sydney. I’m guessing you live up north where it’s probably a little wetter. I get sick of hearing people complain about the weather. I actually like our climate. I would absolutely hate living in a country where it’s always boiling hot!

Peaceful, feels like I wish that the night would last forever and the walk never to end with scenery as stunning as this.
Absolutely beautiful. I remember one of my favorite Christmas moments when my grandma and my parents were all together, the lights went out (blackout) and we had to light candles because it was snowing so heavily, after about 2 hours we had like 50 cm snow on the ground, it was magical :D.
The 2nd scene was my favorite, because it reminded me of that evening~. Thanks for sharing it

The atmosphere is so palpable you could cut it with a Knife. This is the kind of relaxation video I love, no phony CGI snow and static backgrounds, just real snowfall with real photography shot by someone out in it. Realism makes a HUGE impact on the whole experience. 👍

I live in London and I remember years ago when we used to get very cold winters…these days it’s rare to go below 5 degrees Celsius during the day and usually stays between 5 and 10 degrees and very rarely snows. I really enjoyed your video…thank you for posting.

Fortunately, it is possible to bring white winters to home screens.
