Still so many phone boots in London city but today I read in my Herald about the adopt a kiosk project.
Hi I was just wondering where is everybody ‼️
I love these walks with no people in them.
really, its so beautiful
Me too! It’s what I’d be doing if it I were there. (Except I’d stop in the Italian Coffee spot.)
Yes
Lol
Same. Might do one of them where I'm living when it's raining, which isn't going to be too hard as the place where I live is deserted when it's raining. Feels like some sort of appoccaplypse or something.
Something magical and mystical about a rainy cold night in London...chillingly beautiful!🌬❄❄
So life there isn't depressing due to the rain and lack of sunlight?
@@shereenasal6668 what??
@@mgsee i meant the weather there is depressing
@@shereenasal6668 Surprisingly it doesn't rain all the time and the sun does come out in the daytime : ) also walking in the rain with a loved one can be very romantic, especially when surrounded by the bright lights of Central London.
@@shereenasal6668 It dosent rain as much as everyone thinks. We have less rainfall per year than Paris for example
This video is taking me back to my best times of my life. 3 years ago I was still a college student and lived my best life, no worries no pressures no burdens no regrets. Didn’t expect life would hit me so hard. These places brought me so much beautiful memories and my heart hurts so much to even think about them. But I will make my life beautiful again. Wish I could live in London, with my own ability and effort. Life should be wonderful.

London is a beautiful city. And I know most people prefer sunshine to rain but rain brings me a certain comfort, a relaxing vibe if that makes sense. Especially in a big city under the lights.
I'm similar
Finally someone like me
same here, you aren't alone
London is becoming so diverse and I love that. It needs more diversity but its improving. ❤ I love to see so many Black, Brown and Asian faces on this channel in London/UK. I will move there soon.
London is amazing in the Autumn. Also, when nightlife was a bigger thing than it is now, I'd aim to get in London about 7pm. That time between 7 & 9pm, when all the workers & tourists have gone & the nightlife hadn't started yet, was golden. You could stand on London Bridge & hear the birds singing.
the rain in london always brings me peace
hey i am a medical student in France, i started making videos of my WALK TOURS, sounds of life .. if you have got 5min could you take a look please ;) ?
Milk Clouds It would bring me peace also more to see and place to go .I stay in a arshole so called city in Scotland .I always said London was a great place to stay .👍👍👍
So you're at peace every single day cus thats just british weather
okay so the rain in new york or philippines or manchester doesn't
is acid rain
It's funny how living and working in London you take it's simple beauty and history for granted. This video reminds me of how lucky we are
Yeah you're lucky. I WISH I was there right now. Miss it so much
Yea very lucky
Nah its a shithole

Depends what part of London ranges from posh af to dump
The rest of us envy you ngl.
There’s just something so mesmerizing walking through a large city by yourself with barely anyone in sight, especially when it’s super early in the morning or it’s just raining moderately.
When I was in London I used to love walking by myself. With other people there was always a destination and conversation, but by yourself you can really let the city seep into your mind and imagination and you feel connected to it on a deeper level.
I love it but only thing is I get a bit scared when I'm alone incase it happen to turn a corner and bump into a weirdo.
the summer that my friends and I graduated high school we took a trip to san diego and at night we were walking around this huge nice business district area around La Jolla that was basically deserted. we'd find areas under buildings or empty car parks to light a couple joints, super awesome feeling.
No Cinematographer could capture this any better. Reality, atmosphere, ambiance!
Thanks so much John!
@@watchedwalker what camera are you using?
I asked myself, "Why would I watch a rainy tour?" -- but the lack of people lets you focus on the variety of shop details, etc. Quite engaging!
He's done you again, Steve!
never thought London would be this empty and calming! this is a visual treat!
this was during a lockdown to be fair
Pretty easy when the country was in covid lockdown 😂
Growing up in the south west of the UK this kind of weather evokes many memories for me. It makes me remember things like waking up early for school on miserable monday mornings in the dead of winter. Stepping out of my front door and that splash of sideways rain hits you and you feel the cold snap at your extremities. Walking to school it would still almost feel dark because the low rainclouds and the mist would often block out the rising sun so it looked like somebody shining a torch way off in the distance. I used to feel like I was living inside a cloud sometimes. Even back then as a kid I always felt there was a vague melancholy beauty to it. It was like ghosts made of weather swirlling around me.
I miss London so bad, this video is really a small healer :''
me too.Seeing the streets i used to roam
I feel the same, let’s go home
Missing there so so muchhh
I don’t think it will be the same London you remember, sadly.
Same here, but I don't forget that living in London can be very stressful and hectic
love the sound of the rain....very relaxing
A Bertolucci apart from when you are caught in it with no brolly 😁

@@DMWBN3 ..you will pay to do rain dance in water park, but when real rain comes, you want an 🌂
There's an undeniable magic and mystique to a cold, rainy night in London. The chilling beauty of the city shrouded in mist and adorned with glistening raindrops is a sight to behold. 🌆🌧❄
Great video. London adopted me 35 years ago. Still here and still love her, warts and all. Always something new to see.
Praying that everyone falls asleep quickly and has a peaceful sleep. Hope you all wake up happy and well rested
Don't ever stop your walks; I am totes addicted now! I adore them.
Thanks Kate 🙂
This is eerie seeing Soho so empty. When there is no lockdown, I meet up with friends in Compton's Bar in Old Compton Street. The bar appears on the left at 24:09.
It is very strange seeing this area so quiet. I am in Vancouver, but I have visited this area in London, about a dozen times. I associate it with being far more crowded, with a massive sense of energy, and a vibe that feels terrific. It's difficult seeing it this way.
@@christinecamley it is called liminal sensation

@@cuckoospider111 London will recover. Always has done from previous disasters over the past 2,000 years. In the history of London this is just a blink of the eye.

Man something so comforting and amazing about rainy old London. I wanna go there right now.
You don't, it's shit here 😂 Especially now lockdowns ended so back to being pushed around when walking down the street by masses of selfish people...
Watching this makes me crave to experience rainy days in London.
I miss going out in London. Can't wait for all to be normal again. Such a beautiful city, my home town forever

Love this city every day more 🇬🇧🫖💂🏻♂️👍🏻

Reminds me of those old Avengers series with Patrick Macnee. The streets were always deserted like this. Made London look like a big city with few people.
Don't forget Diana Rigg who recently passed away ... or Emma Peel as her character was named .... for her "Male Appeal" ... M Appeal.
Mrs peel, we're needed
I love the Maylebone area.
Nice walk.
At daybreak, it has a somewhat mysterious side, like a lone wolf.
And then one dawns; the big red buses sleeping on the sidewalks and always the music of the rain.
London is a very beautiful city.
Thanks
A Jewel. Lived there for 10 years once upon a time, I still go back now and then. It never gets old.
I'd like to live in a world where there is just tranquillity and serenity, where there are no issues or bad people, where I can rest and enjoy the day without tension by listening to beautiful tunes, the sound of nature.
Wow! That’s awesome and kinda spooky all at the same time, I never get bored of London! 👍🏻👊🏻
Samuel Johnson?
Yeah....hearing crackheads fighting or people getting into fights cos of alcohol is so fun
It's beautiful to walk in the rain good umbrella wellies. Rain coat and just free the mind let the rain cleanse the spirit.
Whenever I get home sick (Living in Minnesota since 2007), I love to remind myself of the rainy British streets. This video is perfect. I love the rain, London and England. 🏴🇬🇧

I really love rain and dark clouds and rumbling sounds in cities like london, paris etc.
I love to walk in rain because it makes me feel like I am actually living not just existing.
It clears my soul🌧🌩🌨🌪☁️
and it makes me whole. With every drop of rain a feeling of joy and peace fills in my heart and mind.💙💙💦💦
It has been a really long time since I have seen rain.
It is natural, and I can't trigger it but I surely can pray for it to occur.🙂
I was in London 79-80 and then 82-85 and still dream about it lots of love
I think walking in an empty city at night with the sound of rain or some radiohead in the headphones is what relax me the most
Felt like being carried through the wet and deserted streets of London in a warm dry carriage accompanied by the sound of falling rain. Mesmerising!
The rain sound.... like the natural music of life! I miss you London. Thank you.
There are a lot of comments saying this helps people sleep, am I the only person that listens to these with headphones while reading a book? I find these perfect for that, blocks out unwanted noise, but at the right volume it's just perfect, not intrusive, just lovely soothing drip drops 😅☔
London is soo goddamn pretty. Looks Royal, elite, and elegant.
I've never seen London like this, so quiet and peaceful. I love it.
So relaxing. A hot cuppa, earbuds, and zone out. The best way to ASMR the afternoon away. Love it, thanks much.
It’s very soporific to watch
The same video format of the video, when everything is clear without unnecessary comments. Great!
Omg it looks so peaceful except for the bus and few cars. I wish I had no responsibilities And had alone time and just be there walking in the rain when no-one is around. I prefer this to a beach heaven! Love the rain 💯
London is very beautiful on the rain❤️

Rain can look beautiful when the city lights reflect. The U.K. is known for its rain but we don’t mind because when the sunny days arrive it a gift to the sun worshipers who after awhile wish for the rain. We have it all this is a wonderful and different view of the capital. Thank you for braving the British weather.
Like a summers' day in Glasgow.
Wow this brings back memories I worked as a film runner in the late 70s at 70 wardour Street which is still the same building remember all the back streets thanks
What a beautiful, surreal ghost town of a city.
Love the dark colors.
Forget rural scenery and pastoral landscapes...have you ever seen anything more beautiful than the neon lights shimmering and reflecting off the wet pavement of a deserted, pre-dawn Leicester Square?
I love Morning Rain! I can not get enough of these videos! It’s going to be sunny today here where I live, I think I’ll just keep this video playing over and over again all day long.
I do love London, and never minded the rain... just lovely!
There's only one thing I love more than the rain....the SNOW ❄ 😍.
22:11 Sunset strip... I’ve had some wild times in that place 👀💃
We enjoyed playing this on the big screen accompanying it with songs about rain and London.
I will always be amazed at the number of back streets and alleyways in the West End of London. I have lived here for most of my life and have never been down many of them
I absolutely LOVE my city of London, I can't imagine living anywhere else!
watching just before bedtime here in US...I'll sleep better now and dream of visiting London again.

i consider myself blessed for having spent nearly 5 years living in London, the experiences that have made me who i am today can no one ( but Alzheimers ) take away from me.

I always say that I do not like living in cities. Yet, I alway find myself watching videos of people walking quietly and peacefully, and it made me realise that it is not the cities I do not like, but the people living in it!
Early morning, in the rain, in London. My 3 favorite things!
Nice walking around London on a rainy day ! Awesome ambiance 😊👍

Let's all vicariously experience true wanderlust.
How amazing that such a place could be so empty while there's any sort of daylight. I'd make it a weekly routine to have a stroll at this time.
Stunning, love seeing the quiet deserted streets, the sounds and reflection of the rain... Just stunning!
An hour of relaxation
I love walking home in this weather
what a lovely thing you are doing. I went to London once, in 2004. I got to go to Piccadilly Square, and the atmosphere and the culture was so overwhelming. It makes the whole state of CA look like a desert. Thank you so much for making this video.
Think you mean Piccadilly Circus and maybe Leicester Square Tourists do get them mixed up 😉 your right though culture is overwhelming you should come back 🇬🇧❤️🇺🇸
@@derekduvale4059 I wish I could go back. It is so clean and refreshing compared to the U.S. We Yanks are so gutteral when we speak, yet, the Brits seem to maintain an eloquence that is soothing to the ears. I love the rich history and architecture, not to mention the fact that the city isn't crawling with tents, feces and used needles like in some parts of the U.S. Most people don't know this, but when the U.S. was formed and our governing documents drawn up, the moral code written into those documents was adopted from the Brits. I stayed in Southfields when I went. At The Nourish and Flourish. I so wish I could go back.
@@yourcompassioncorner indeed your entire law system and government is based on the British model. You also have a 12th century copy of Magna Carta in the Capitol Building. I will never forget when Richard Nixon was threatened with impeachment the principle that no one is above the law including the President was used by the Supreme Court using the appropriate clause directly from Magna Carta. If only King John knew the consequences over 750 years later when he signed it in June 1215.
Love the relaxing rain ambience, especially in the Carnaby street with all those lights 😍🎆
