i love how, out of all the living beings in the multiverse that vegeta has ever came in contact with, the only person he has ever said sorry to more than once, was gohan, the son of his rival. Super Manga Vegeta is great. I'm rereading the Moro arc now that it's all out, and his devotion to righting his past wrongs is beyond anything in Z or GT. The Granola arc addressed his guilt well too, I hope it gets a satisfying conclusion.

In the end he decides not to kill everyone on earth because of his fear of Piccolo and others teaming up on him... so he lives with Bulma. Eventually gets a child with her. Gets a sentimental side that he really was in denial about: trunks dies --> vegeta's rage suicide attack.
Vegeta gets to learn about humility and apologized to Gohan. Later on he becomes a semi-deadbeat-saiyan-style dad to trunks and loves his family, the stay on earth, Goku's death, Gohan being overpowered... it had all reasonably changed him and it made him a better man in general.
Even in GT we get shown that Vegeta continues to be with his family and still loves them even though he trains like it's his day-time job.
In DragonBall Super, Vegeta is a deadbeat dad that will just kill people once they kill his family. He does not even try to raise trunks most of the time since he is on Beerus' planet training non-stop at the point Bulma even had to try to find the earth-to-Whis communicator which shows that Vegeta does not talk to them like at all
Vegeta in Super literally refused to go to the ToP because Bulma was expecting their next child any moment. Do your damn research.
Even if vegeta is a mad guy, he is actually very responsible he is the prince after all...
So he was nice for a total of 16 minutes out of the few months worth of content between DBZ, GT and Super.

Goku's "goodbye my friend" line gets me every time when I watch Fusion Reborn. And don't even get me started on Goku's little ramble on how him and Vegeta hadn't seen each other in so long and that they shouldn't argue, as well as him trying to make Vegeta feel better about the power difference a little before that. It's honeslty one of the reasons why Fusion Reborn is one of my favorite Dragon Ball movies, as well as just one of my favorite movies.
There is so much depth to Goku and Vegeta's friendship that I feel like just doesn't really get focused on at all. Fusion Reborn is one of the few examples that I feel like we have where we did get to see their frienship and how much Goku truly cared for Vegeta as a friend. And vice versa with Vegeta, as much as he probably never wanted to admit it at times.

He was so nice in the buu saga sucks that his character regressed a tad but on the bright side he still sees goku as a friend and warrior and not as a annoying rival that he can’t stand.
I mean honestly with how annoying Goku is I can't blame Vegeta for getting pissed at him. I'm kinda glad he kept his rivalry intact instead of just riding Goku's dick like everyone else.
I don't think he really regressed. Refusing to train so he can be with his wife when she gives birth is massive for any Saiyan let alone Vegeta

Rather than "regressing", I'd describe it as his simply redefining his rivalry with Goku. Before, he fought Goku in order to prove that he was the absolute strongest Saiyan forever and always. But now, it's more like he understands and accepts that fighting with and alongside Goku is a way for them BOTH to become stronger; each will briefly overtake the other as they race each other up the ladder, and he might even find more enjoyment out of it that way.
He even voiced this concept to Granola, when the latter seemed to hold far too much stock in his status as "strongest in the universe". Vegeta pointed out the fact that this title's owner is never set in stone.
@@DenisK21 you can say that but it’s purely headcanon. What’s factual is that it contradicts the canon, as he put aside the rivalry to focus more on his family. Even at the end of z, he doesn’t bother fighting goku there and then, compared to the buu saga where he still wanted to fight him no matter what.

Even though Vegeta is frustrated for not being stronger than before, I've never seen him as vulnerable as this. The way the voice actor executed his lines and sobbing was legendary as well. It's a good scene.

Ya know, I've never seen the show but this Vegeta character seems like a stand up guy, gentle caring father, quick to make friends and so humble. The kind of guy fighting in a tournament that I'd feel safe spectating from the stands.
He starts off as an asshole of an alien warrior race who destroys entire planets and commits several acts of genocide for pure enjoyment.
But after a while, there is a magical thing called character development, which is the large appeal of his character.
He gets humbled many times and eventually learns.
Not to mention... he actually blows up the stands at a tournament once....

Vegeta is such a great character, best in dragon ball imo. He fights for his pride and to be the greatest, but just has great development throughout the show. He learns to live for something other than himself and die for it, learns to respect the other Z fighters and learned to demolish his enemy (when the time came). I see goku and vegeta both as protagonists with a decent more bias on goku always saving the day but vegeta also always gets development that I feel earns more respect of the viewer.

He did not stutter, struggle, nor come up with any insult to balance his compliment.
