    Cool Video! I'm thinking of using this exact marble on my shower pan, any tips for that? I love how white the marble stayed in your video! Did you seal it?

      Sarah, Thank you for you kind eords🙏 Marble installation on shower floors is one of the most detailed and challenging jobs a tile contractor can do. To avoid a very common issue with marble moisture discoloration I would recommend you to use porcelain tile for your shower floor. You can even find marble-looking porcelain mosaic tile.

      @@TileProUSA ok yea, I’m currently watching the pod cast you did regarding light colored marble in showers. So glad I’m seeing this before I purchased the tile. I will look into porcelain now, thanks again! 😊

    How did you keep the marble from chipping?

    • @TileProUSA

      Marble usually doesn't chip off if cut wet on a saw with a quality diamond blade.

    Why did you use thin set instead of tile mastic?

    • @TileProUSA
      @TileProUSA  Před 9 měsíci

      Because a specialized cementitious adhesive is the best way to install natural stone.

      I think you simply misunderstood it. The video explains the importance of technical knowledge when working with natural stone.
