    I couldn't believe I found a video of the exact tile we bought. We only have one plug to do, for this bathroom backsplash we are doing. We think we hired a tile guy, but he hasn't called us like he said after he saw it. I do believe he is a pro so we will give him another week before we attempt it ourselves. I don't think we will be professional like you. Beautiful work. I hope you did finish the plug....They do get kind of tricky. My husband did great with straightening out our light switch (which the electrician....My nephew...left hanging cock-eyed).

    • @masculinitymatters9030
      @masculinitymatters9030 Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah, doing it this way will make the switches and outlets become to recessed and unstable. The tile always need to be behind to arms / legs of the outlets to be able to tighten them.

      @@pb6717 I bought 4 boxes at Lowe's in N. CA for about $10 a box....I guess they were closing out that product. That first tile guy didn't show up after a month of waiting. We hired our stucco guy to do it and he did beautiful work. We had purchased a special plug outlet (a recessed type of plug) which fit in fine. Glad that work is done.

    We used this in a home we sold about 10 months ago. We loved it! We were going to use it again in our new home but changed our mind . Just wanted something different so we went with white subway tile had wavyness to it goes with Luna pearl. They make stone trim for that stone you are using.

    I think that is the exact same granite and back splash stone tile that we decided on! Exactly. I like the darker grout choice. We were going to go with a lighter color, but I think the dark is the way to go. nice job. I hope mine finishes up looking like this. I am however using the Schluter Aluminum edging to match the cabinet hardware and faucet

    So glad I found this video. We are going to be installing natural stone backsplash in our kitchen soon. Questions-did you just stick to existing wall? And does the sealer prevent the grout from getting into the pits in the stone ? Thank you gif the video, that backsplash looks amazing!! Nice job!!

      For natural stone I use the sealer and it helps a lot with cleaning the grout, but beware that some will not get out, chose a grout color that will compliment your tile, grout color will determine overall finish, glad to help, thanks
