Strip alert 300 there no option to turn off the alert mode and in winter it has a major impact on battery life there times I ridden and car drivers said where ya light I look behind me and its dead I'm lucky if I get two days out of it. Because it goes off on the flashing mode to much that why with the strip alert 400 they dropped it from 300 to 150 lumens on there new one because they knew 300 lumens would kill the light especially in winter times. I got that light day one it came.out
I have those lights "two of them" but I also have two viz 450, which I think are better in my personal opinion. However, I've had no problems personally with the lezyne lights.
The first gen strip alert was using to.much battery power and in cold weather's if you forgot to take of the light the same day you charge it in that next day in the cold light will die 😳 the new strip the improved it far better now I like my lights that last for awhile my front lights I charge them like every 2 to 3 weeks and my bike like every week or so hehe just how I like it. Found charging everyday was abit tirting
@@NatureDCycling the viz 450 are definitely worth the upgrade, you won't need another rear light again unless something spectacular comes out. I use the volt 1700 on the front, insanely powerful and lights up everything.
@aliensstolemybeer5362 I will be doing them next year once I do that I be good I use to do double lights at the front thr issue lezyne use rubber straps where one light will go up and next will go down light not in alignment is my biggest put off so I'm gonna go with nite rider as a test see how I like em I want them for the walk mode last like 60 hours and I'm good 👍 lezyne don't sell the mount with the adaptor meaning you gotta buy them separate
@@NatureDCycling I'll try and do a video at some point to show you how the two lights look together on the bar at the back. I'll do the comparison between the viz and the lezyne. I'll do it at night so it'll look more effective.
It's just my personal opinion, due to the build quality and how well they light up the rear. I'd certainly have no issues with the lezyne.

How is your experience with it so far?
@@nusskronett they're very good lights for sure but it'd be down to personal choice I guess.
@nusskronett I have the viz 450 now and they are really good
@@NatureDCycling I'm glad you got them. I had a feeling you would like them.
I used both lights Viz300 and lezyne strip pro drive pro 300 I like it both I don't have issue on my bike lights coz I charged it after my ride
I find both makes to be exceptionally good but it's just a personal preference. The viz lights seem to project the light in a higher brightness.
