    Szia! Lehet tölteni világítás közben? Mivel sokat megyek sötétben számomra nagyon fontos hogy mentet közben is tudjam tölteni powerbankról. Sajnos az előző lámpám tönkrement(amit tudtam tölteni menetközben) és azóta már 2 is rendeltem de egyik sem tölthető világítás közben!

    Hi! Can you charge it (from powerbank) and use it at the same time while riding? Or charge mode locks it from turning it on?

    Can I know the difference between AMPP and Volt series of Cateye.. which one is better for the same lumens. Is there a review of their comparision

    • @pasqualeagnello3341
      @pasqualeagnello3341  Před 2 lety +1

      If I'll purchase a Volt version, I'll make a video in which I compare them 😀

      @gumpi5 Před 11 měsíci +1

      Maybe too late now but main difference is: Volt have street permit and a bit less bright but sharp focused cone of light. Whereas Ampp doesn't have permit. Because it throws light more like a floodlight.

    Bro when compared to Rockbros R1 800 luments which one is brighter?🙏

    Would you say 400 lumens is enough to light up the path ahead of you in pitch black areas?

    • @pasqualeagnello3341
      @pasqualeagnello3341  Před 2 lety

      Yes it's enough, but with this lamp and its 800lumens it's quite better 😁

    • @gumpi5
      @gumpi5 Před 11 měsíci

      More lumens always better 😂 but I'd recommend at least 400 lumens for a completely dark straight asphalt trail in forestry area with no or almost no obstacles when driving about 15 mph (or 25 kmph).
      It's a good compromise between visibility and battery runtime.
      I own the "LEZYNE Lite Drive 1000XL" and wow... I guess tiny thing throws out nearby the 1000 lumens. With that amount of light you can drive really 100% safe in whatever terrain except driving downhill the mount everest 😂
      But on road you can go as fast you can go with your bike. 15.5 mph with e scooter absolutely no problem.
      So the 800 lumens of the ampp 800 surely will be enough too.
      Sadly the ampp800 is hardly available in Austria 😢

    Hi there, I have same light. On the user manuel it is writen that when battery is fully charged, red light button will turn off. But my battery after 8 hours of charging still showing red light, even battery is fully charged🤔
    So my question is, does battery indicator turns off when battery is fully charged or not???
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi. Does your Cateye Ampp800 gets heat up after awhile?

    • @pasqualeagnello3341
      @pasqualeagnello3341  Před 3 lety +1

      Hello!
      Yes, it become a little bit warm after using, but I have to test it for a longer time.... I usually turn on the light when I have to go to work.. I use it only for 5 minutes per day :)

      @@pasqualeagnello3341 I do hope you can review it after using for a long period of time. I was thinking of getting it but was not sure of whether it will gets hot after awhile.

      @pasqualeagnello3341  Před 3 lety +1

      Consider also that the lamp's body is totally made with metal, so it can release heat so fast

    How many hour battery will last on low, medium or high mode?

    • @pasqualeagnello3341
      @pasqualeagnello3341  Před rokem

      On High mode about 1 hour
      On medium and low mode don't know but I think it's enough 😀

    WARNING: FLIMSY MOUNTS!
    I bought 2 of the Cateye 1100 AMPP versions and the Cateye 1700 Volt. The problem with the lights is that they won't last long. Their batteries are integrated, meaning they can't be replaced so the light will have to be thrown away after a year or so if used every day. Another problem is the design of the base on the 1700 Volt is faulty. On that model, the base ridge on the bottom of the light body doesn't hold the release button screw spring in place - thus leaving the heavy light to go sprawling onto the concrete. Mine went flying into the line of traffic after a 3 uses, damaging the light. I've lost half a dozen lights from various manufactures in this way. And that was on smooth pavement, it must be way worse on mountain bike trails. I sent some pictures of the design flaw into the Cateye distributor who more or less blew me off. However, I see they pulled the light from their website right afterwards. All this stuff comes from the Ali baba factories in China where they make them for a few bucks. Their websites shows them selling them to dealers for a few bucks and the dealer and store marks it up to $100 to $300.

    Change the tires to smoother ones. Yours make too much noise.

    • @pasqualeagnello3341

      I know, but for now I keep this kind of tires... Then I'll put something better for road using 😃
