Great video found exactly what I needed to know, especially in daytime use, I was getting a cateye 300 but the Nightrider 250 blows it out of the water even side view 5 hours is plenty on one charge for me. Thanks
The current production Viz 450 changed (downgraded) the group mode intensity to just 20 lumens, using ONLY two out of the 5 leds (the top one and the one at the bottom) WTF, @Cateye?
That's ridiculous, thanks for the update! 👍 I still say the Solas 250 is the best option, it's the one I reach for in very bright conditions. The Viz family doesn't concentrate its beam as much, so appears less intense! ✌️
If I had to choose only one as a daytime runner, it would be the Knightrider Solas 250. For night use, either one of the Cateyes. In fact, for night time use only, the baby Viz 150 is more than adequate, especially in group ride mode.! Hope this helps! ✌️

Hi Jonny!
I'm glad you found the video useful, the NR is a fab flasher and it's the one I reach for almost every ride!
Safe riding, friend! ✌️
Genius!
Good video. I have been looking for comparisons on daytime tail lights to buy.
Welcome!
Pick up the Solas 250 as a daytime runner, you'll be more than happy with it! 👍

Glad you found it of use! ✌️
Well done
😂Vs Cygolite 350 video compare have too..! Vs cateye vs niterider
Which do you prefer?
Make the same video in the night
Useless. Over 40/50 Lumens at night and the motorists will be blinded even on country roads. Those are daylight modes only.
So which's better?
