They screwed up the remasters for a lot of the mini-games, and in the case of pool the analogue stick sensitivity is off the charts compared to the original games. I don't know if it was ever patched but I just use the mouse and keyboard, which for whatever reason always hits straight. @@Gaff. Nah it's still busted on consoles, for PC though you can use the steam controller config to make sure it can only hit straight. They give you the grab button for a reason lmao
l4d in the thumbnail? noice
When I played this game myself, even after Yakuza 0, Kiwami 1 and 2, and 5, I thought the gameplay was pretty great. Even has some aspects I didn't see again 'til Yakuza Kiwami 2 or 6.
When I tried that first time through they just lunged forward preventing the throw.
can't throw fatties in Y3, the trade off is that they don't have guard breaking attacks and if they miss you always have enough time to run behind and kill them
I really want to play this one for the story and all, but God people saying the combat is that bad at times. But I still want to try
instructions unclear, all buttons pressed. quit game and uninstalled after opponent blocked
"Nani"
"Uh"
i'm pretty sure the guy wouldn't have turned around to block if this was the PS3 version in 0:14 . People have accepted a lot of the weird problems the remaster brought but the fact is, these weren't intentional design choices. They're bugs that came with the remaster.
Bro the sussy guy grabbed you at the beginning of the battle. 🇸🇧
Convenient that this is gameplay of the random encounter goons and not one of the many frustrating bosses that don't let you do anything besides quickstep + punch in back.
why does everyone always do the same X X X Y Y combo
Everyone in Japan had steel forearms back then.
u dont have to break their gaurd to grab them btw
0:19 you tied to quickstep Komaki dodge shot didn’t you?
The yakuza game that needed a kiwami remastered! What a missed opportunity thanks RGG.
me who just mashed buttons until their guard was broken for like 1 second and got in a single hit at a time:
Yakuza 3 gives you an incentive to actually use everything you've got.
Is that why only one of the combos (the only one used in this vid) is viable?
I guess the one combo spammed in this video is everything you've got.
Which is one combo, and 3 parries in late game?
Best I can say about Y3 is it taught me to grab more, watch my back, and figure out viable ways to hit bosses. That’s being generous though because the entire game was a slog I regret playing
That's a weird way to say "spam tiger drop"
I finished Kiwami 2 and so I'm heading to 3 next. I am not excited
lmao
Me: *hits an enemy 16 times*
Also enemy holding guard: I have no such weaknesses.
A lot of people spammed rush 3 combo for this game but I always had fun playing legend using all facets of his move set.
I was in fact one of those people
liked because i'm surprised you even have any heat to use
i call this game "grab city 3", because I grab the enemies too fkn much
Yakuza 3 had bussin combat, I actually prefer it over the dragon system
The sooner you get used to fighting without mashing X and Triangle, the better
