How to Morph Objects Using Tyflow

  • Hello everyone ! In today's Tutorial I'll show you guys how to morph one object to another object using tyflow inside 3dsmax, in this case I'm using a text but it can be any object that you want and you can create this beautiful effect. make sure to watch the tutorial till the end and tell me if you have problems or questions and share your results with me, would love to see them. thank you !!

    Word of advice.
    Show the final render at the start of the video or atleast at the end so people can gauge whether watching the whole video is worth their time.
    Itll also make a really good thumbnail for your videos.
    Nice tutorial tho, I hope your channel grows some more.

    Thank you for this tutorial, i was actually in need to do some morphing for my next project. Need to transform/morph part of the floor in to the human body) This is definitely a good solution for my project, thank you!

    This was a life save tutorial! Helped me get about 90 percent there. Only issue I am having are the shapes I am attaching particles to are animated/moving. The particles want to attach but then keep moving around different areas/faces as the shape is moving? Is there a way to have them attach and stay in place of the faces?

      Thanks, yah there some options in the find target operator for faces and vertices

    Any tip to make it fill the volume of objects instead of just the surface ?

      You can the particles to fill the volume of an object and then mesh it. But if you want a realistic result you should definitely do it using Phoenix FD.

    it is possible to distribute particles evenly over an object, at the same distance ?

      I believe there is an option in the find target operator, you have random and some other options In there

    I'm trying to morph one large object with one smaller object. The smaller object is perhaps only 5% of the volume of the bigger object. What is the best way to deal with this? The original and final mesh needs to be clean and sharp - not 'blobby' ;-)
    Any hints to point me in the right direction?

      well ! in that case you might need to use Phoenix FD, try doing it with body force, because in tyflow we're dealing with particles, and the amount of particles on a large object will be much more denser on a small object that it's moving to.
