I really wish that more people would realize how much of an innovator of comedy Tom Green was
I feel like he really pioneered stuff like Jackass, Tim & Eric, and other absurdist "Internet humor." Not necessarily the first to ever do it, but the first to get really popular doing it.

Tom either makes me yell and cry with laughter or the joke just doesn’t translate at all and he takes it too far. You have to respect a comedian for that, he lets it all out not knowing if people will love it or hate it but, does it anyway... Truly amazing!

Tom Green is a Legend ! Tears of laughing here till the end. Not just that, but after all these years, his jokes and character just sticks in my head , i LOVE it

Tom Green was the foundation to podcasts, prank channels and really CZcams in general.. he’s underrated and under appreciated I feel.

I was watching this as a teenager in a small town in the south of Holland. This felt so far away from anything that was going on in my world around that time - it blew my mind. I became a big fan of this show. It was aired on MTV randomly and there was no program information available so we had to be lucky to catch the show.
Fast forward 20 years: the intro song is still in my head and that's what got me here this morning.

From 94 to 2002 Tom Green was the funniest man on the planet. And is easily one of the funniest of all time. As plenty others have said he doesn't get anywhere near the credit he deserves. He took inspiration from Andy Kaufman to a degree (Kaufman was also hilarious) but he took it, ran with it, made it his own and perfected it.
In 2005 I worked in the DVD section at Future Shop and we only received about four copies of Tom Green's DVD... I knew they'd go fast so I hid one in the back of a shelf and bought it on my next payday. It was one of the best purchases I ever made. :)

It doesn't matter how old I get every time I watch this stuff I'm instantly back in my 20's reliving all the crazy crap I used to mainly from the influence of Tom Green and CKY. Those were the best times of my life. I'd give anything if I could go back and live it on infinite repeat forever.

People weren't really in the know about more advanced trolling back then so you could just say you work for a local cable access, which they did, and want a tour of the factory. Then when he gets in he just randomly improvs stuff. Also since people get confused they allow them to film longer where today you'd be kicked out immediately.

Before the internet - I used to love watching this on MTV (around 1991/1992 I believe). Most I knew hated Tom's humor. I loved it, and still do.

I grew up watching The Tom Green Show . The first .MP3 I ever downloaded was The Bum Bum Song when the .MP3 first came out. I had the pleasure to meet Tom outside a show in Indianapolis. Love his movies too !
