5:01 Brass speaker does work you need to click the 'Done' button it will save the message and display it under the Actual Message text before pressing Esc, if you just come out of the speaker menu it doesn't save it. Also don't click 'Done' with no text in the text box it will clear the last saved message.
It can be used for train announcements e.g. "The train arriving at platform 1 is the Hogwarts Express." If you use a Train Observer block.
