- In this Mumbo Minecraft video, we see Mumbo trying the create mod for the first time. The Minecraft Create mod for Minecraft Forge Modloader introduces mechanical features to Minecraft, such as Minecraft conveyor belts, Minecraft mechanical cogs, and Minecraft robot arms. The create allows players to create giant Minecraft piston doors, automatic redstone farms, automatic Minecraft block placers and much more!

Maybe optifine is causing the rendering error of items in mechanical belts. They are supposed to show items on it whether there is a depot or not
You can’t use opticien when using mods
@hello that is... objectively false??? like, optifine often isn't great and can tank your performance, but it's not malware. if you go a virus or somethin from downloading "optifine," then you just downloaded it off a bootleg site. (also, optifine is still used with forge, and a fair amount of ppl still use forge over fabric)
@@koboldcrusader Optifine is not used in 99% of modpacks, because the developers do not guarantee that it wont break visual features. Which as seen in this video optifine can break visual features.

The reason the mechanical arm wasn’t working at 11:45 was because it was taking items from the depot as well as the ejector. You need to right click the ejector again to make it an output since ejectors can be both an input and an output

This is one of my favorite mods because it feels like you're actually building contraptions instead of building blocks that do stuff for you with cables for power and sending items places.

In the latest version of Create, you can add an instruction to a Sequenced Gearshift that makes it wait for a redstone pulse before continuing. So with that rotating door you made at the start, you can now just make it turn 90°, wait for a redstone pulse, and then turn 90° in the opposite direction instead of the extra redstone you used to make that possible.
I would recommend using the just enough items mod as well. It will allow you to see the crafting recipes of each item and its uses in crafting

Mumbo and efficiency? Huge output, sure, ridiculously big interesting apparatus, of course, but efficient? Efficiency is about making the most from and with limited ressources, which includes lagging the server, may i remind on his earlier (meaning hermitcraft season 6 for example) industrial complexes, where even he himself complained about the lagg it caused?
One thing I love about this mod is that it doesn’t completely ruin redstones usefulness - so many components still use redstone
As a mechanical engineer, this mod speaks to me on a whole different level.

create is a fantastic modpack, i load it into everything i run. its so intuitive and powerful. its the only tech pack that isnt centered around generating miliblorps to power the mechatronic tranfuserator to activate your electrostatic mugglorperators

i played a modpack a few months ago thats called create above and beyond and its a quest based modpack centered around create i basically used like 15 mechanical arms for everything until i unlocked op enderchests that can be accesed by machines

It's the same thing but not only less awkward to use, but a hundred times more powerful as well (and slightly better performant, but that doesn't normally come up for either mod)

I damn near broke my jaw just seeing a gear in minecraft. I'm shocked you didn't even think to make an elevator with this. Side note Let's all appreciate how he used one water source to power all of this.
He did later on add a creative motor.
There's a lot of ways you can make an elevator with Create. Mechanical Pistons and Rope Pulleys, you can make the simple ''Up & Downs'' and the little more complicated ones that have multiple floors, those need the sequenced gearshift that mumbo used for three seconds, using them you can tell how much the rope pulley/mechanical pistons how much you want them to extend

With the sequenced gearshift, you can even set it to wait for a redstone signal and let it turn the other way the second time you send a signal to it
its like watching a programmer see a pile of parts to build an engine, then they decide to make a door out of it
a real programmer wouldn't create a door. they would create a mass of bugs that operate like a door. :P
