- In todays Mumbo redstone video, we go into the latest pre-release of Minecraft 1.16, making use of the new game mechanic of putting ice over soul soil to create basalt in Lava lakes, I have created a self building bridge in Minecraft that covers the player from ghasts, looks awesome, and works incredibly fast using slimeblock flying machines! Perfect for those who want to traverse the minecraft nether in the new Minecraft nether update.

Thank you, Mr. Jumbo! This video actually inspired me to make my own version of bridge assembler, despite the fact, that I had never built complicated redstone machines before.

It’s (apparently) very similar to actual real-life programming, just with a more physical aspect. People have built actual working calculators and computers within Minecraft, which just blows my mind.
I've done both, and I can tell you it is exactly what programming feels like. Construct, test, expand test, find bug, think you fixed bug, test. etc.

This was so awesome to me personally that I sent it to my friend who doesn't even play Minecraft lol. Minecraft is such an amazingly designed game, and some of the people who play it (like Mr. Mumbo), are extremely ingenious and creative. I love all of it

A self-building house machine would be more trouble to build than the house it creates. What you need is a self-building street machine - it builds a street in the middle and a row of houses on either side.
