UPDATE November 2023: On my iPad M1 with 8GB Ram i now see the Relight and the Deepth Map Feature again. Not sure why but its there.
M2 8gb ram ipad user here - I too can see the relight function but it never works. Very disappointed as I just paid to unlock studio feature 😕 can u actually use the relight feature?
This explains a lot and takes some of the mystery out of it. Thanks for finding and linking that document to share with us. We may not have gotten the answer we wanted but we appreciate knowing where to find the information. Thanks again for giving us this Gem 💎 of Knowledge today. 😊😊❤❤🎉

I have the M2 Pro 1Tb with Studio license but the overheating issue gots me nut, I ordered a MBP M2 Max 2Tb and 64Gb instead…
Yeah the overheating is a real bummer. I hope it is software related and maybe will be fixed in the future.

Hi, Daniel! Thinking about buying or staying on Resolve, I watched your video and this document, and was disappointed with this news... But in the end, having bought and installed Studio 18.6 on my 12.9 M1 256Gb(8Gb RAM) wifi, I found these two effects on the list and they both work. Of course, I will not say anything and I think you and the rest need to collect more feedback on this issue before we can talk about it as a resolved problem.

Unfortunately it is a limitation of the IPad's memory. The interesting thing is that I used depth map a few times on my M1 and it worked correctly. Relight never worked for me. An excellent week ahead!
Same here Carlos. I‘m not even sure if the 16GB Ram version does less crashes… also the M2 MacBook Air baseline has only 8GB Ram aswell.
Wish i could have afforded the 2k ipad with 16GB. Haha got the base model pro M2. So why would they or why do they restrict the feature to only 16GB models? I wouldnt mind waiting or lagging to have the feature. I guess they dont want people to have a bad experience maybe. Only thing right? Dont want bad or poor reviews on how it lags brakes or dosent work well. Makes sense, is most likely a "image" of there product and company. Thanks for informing us.
Yeah. Guess u nailed it. And me myself i only have the 256GB Version. 2TB is very expensive. If i will get this in the Future (M3 or M4) then only because my Content revolves around that. But privat i would not buy the 2TB and always would rather go with a 2TB SSD.
Needs 16GB of ram. That buyer's remorse is really starting to kick in.
Yeah… step by step, the 16GB Ram Version becomes more and more important. But one thing bugs me… the MacBook Air M2 base is also only 8GB Ram and Studio DaVinci works just fine
