- Looks like the Carburetor is leaking gas. I better fix it before it catches on Fire. Ford F250 1970 camper special with 360 FE engine. Looks to be leaking from the Accelerator pump.
This is the Dorman part I put in there: amzn.to/3qeoo38
Love the travel partner!!
Thank you
That is one super cute dog!!
Thank you
My Holley carb spills gas out the accelerator pump, has been driven less than 400 miles, but overall, the carb is a year old. So is the diaphragm a part that one should change on a yearly basis, regardless of mileage?
No, the diaphragm should not be something that you have to change each year.
@@jerrysprojects7653thanks for your answer! I now talked to some other guys with the same problem and they changed to a diaphragm that can resist alcohol, problem was solved
@@goldenltd1970where can I get one?
Good video I have a 65 mercury comet and when am driving my car dies at a short distance any tips ?? Thanks 🙏
JBalls, that is hard to troubleshoot without experiencing that issue. Has to be spark related or gas related. I know everyone says that, but that is something you will have to dig into and start eliminating things. Good Luck !
hey man ive got a 79 cougar and i was having the same issue, i took off the fuel filter and seen it was getting plenty so i was messing with the spark and realised there was a large amount of condensation inside the cap and a rusted rotor, after cleaning it up it ran for about 10 miles and did the same thing so i bought a new set and threw it on and its been going strong ever since
My 72 has same problem. What kind pump did you buy? I have same carb
I bought one from autozone that seemed to work.
Did you have any symptoms to it leaking?
Yes, it was dripping from the front cover.
I wish you showed how to put the pin and spring back on
Dang, Yes, I should have showed that, sorry.
@@jerrysprojects7653 a thanks for the video. I figured it out
