Thanks for the video, I did not know why my old truck all of the sudden would not start. It starts with starting fluid but dies right as soon as it runs out. Took the top cover off the carb thinking the float was stuck, the chamber was dry as hell. Once I got it all cleaned up, poured a bit of gas in the chamber and that is when I noticed gas leaking out of the Accelerator Pump
Hey thanks for the video. Did the replacement fix the problem? My 63 f100 is having problems where it shuts off after I try to push gas at stop light. I think it's the same part causing problem.
For me, there turned out to be a crack in the body of the carb causing a vacuum leak. But it does sound like that might fix the problem for you. Plus its a cheap part so worth a try.
@cronedentside74 oh ok I forgot about that website. I went out of town and found one for 4.00 it's not like the original but the one I got will work as well. Tks for replying back to me. I got it from autozone

I got my truck back to running with a new Excelerator pump it wasn’t to bad to do. Just make sure you get the spring in

Where did you buy that part! Mine is leaking as well.
I got mine from RockAuto but it looks like they are of stock now. I’m not sure who else sells them.
