    I stopped using Menzerna after learning how cancerous it was but that CarPro compound looks good.

      Slider617 - Menzerna are one brand that have over recent years developed lots of much more friendly compounds/polishes! But yes to be honest all polishes should be used with the upmost care! Gloves as a minimum during regular use and in well ventilated areas! Thanks for watching - if you’ve not already done so please check out the rest of the channel & subscribe! Thanks 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

    Simply :
    Menzerna HCC400 = less cut, better finishing
    CarPro Clearcut = Way far more cut, a little less finishing

    Great video. How would you rate these against Sonax ultimate Cut or cutmax or even Meg 105 or 110?

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před 2 lety +2

      Ritesh Nowbut - Thank you for your kind words! From our extensive use both ClearCUT & HC400 perform better than Meg 105/110 which are both old formulas - not to say that they are not good but ClearCUT & 400 are bettter! Sonax CutMAX is scheduled to be a future video on the channel - as the name suggests it is a heavy cutting compound and one we love! Thanks again - please make sure you check out the rest of the channel & if you’ve not already done so please subscribe 👍🏽🙏🏽🚗

      @@VProjectUKDetailing thank you for your swift reply... since you guys are in the UK... I really think you guy should do a comparison video with Sonax cutmax or Menzerna 400 vs Autoglym Rapid Renovator Plus which i heard is a awesome compound as well... Very unheard off in many parts of the detailing world...Cheere Mate.

    Even tho they don’t fill the oils can hide imperfections Iv had it with s20 used it on a seat with hex green pad looked liked all the defects where removed after wipe off then used ipa all the defects where still there

      hakman239 - Yes it’s very true! It’s one of the reasons we use Menz HC400 or CarPro ClearCUT and wipe off using a panel prep. A. Both compounds provide excellent results B. Panel prep to remove most polishing oils to assess true results 👍🏽🚘

    Should we always ipa after compound and polish bro? Even our compound has a low dust..no filler..low residu?

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před 4 lety +1

      shamilbasayev99 - Compounds and polishes all have carrier oils that can mask scratches and defects. One way to ensure best removal is to use a panel prep/degreaser type product such as Gyeon Prep to remove those oils so you can see the true results you have achieved. Also removing those oils will allow whatever protection you may add after compounding/polishing to bond better with the vehicle surface! We would avoid using an IPA as a panel degreaser. IPA won’t always remove those oils and can just smear them instead. Use something like Gyeon Prep which although does have a high concentration of IPA also has dedicated degreasers which makes THE difference. Interestingly Gyeon themselves state that Gyeon Prep should not be used as a final protection preparation step and instead the vehicle should be washed again to ensure the vehicle is fully clean prior to adding protection ... but in our experience using Gyeon Prep is fine! It’s good enough as a final step and we find no lack of protection longevity. Hope this helps.

      @@VProjectUKDetailing thanks for your long and detailed information sir..
      Gyeon product so pricey here in indonesia..
      so it is a good idea to full wash my car before adding some protections on top of it..like wax,sealant..

    • @VProjectUKDetailing
      @VProjectUKDetailing  Před 4 lety +1

      shamilbasayev99 - Yes! Good idea to wash your car using a pure shampoo which will leave nothing behind such as CarPro Reset then add wax or sealant after 👍🏽

    Why compare the same? Because car pro dont have own..menzerna fill up the car pro pastes lol

      BK Detailing - Thank you for this observation. Although like in a lot of industries there are few specialist manufacturers providing raw components for other large brands we find the user experience varies between brands! A bit like buying an Audi or Skoda ... they are both from the same VW group but the driving experience is very different. Similarly we find the user experience is different between these two compounds.
