Let the unboxings begin!! 👏👏👏 Oh, this one is adorable, Denise (or “spudtacular” as you so appropriately called it)! I can’t get over how many potato head items you found. I think a little girl is absolutely going to love this shoebox gift, especially with the cute little ragdoll included. I actually just started a Mr. potato head box, but not for this year. I’ve had a Mr. potato head here at the house that my grandkids never played with and decided to build a shoebox around it. Unfortunately I’ve missed all the previous Mr. potato head items from DT, so it might take a while to come together. Thanks for sharing, Denise, and welcome back! ❤
I’ve got a Mr Potato head in the works and having the same issue locating items. Looks like he may make an appearance sometime other than 2024.
Yay, congrats on your first unboxing! Such a cute theme! That's awesome you are drawing inside the lids. I know I can't! I don't want to scare the children with my drawings! lol I absolutely love the doll. I never ordered from wow before. I will look into it. So nice it goes with a second dress. So thoughtful of you to add the velcro opening. The potato doll is perfect. I remember loving playing with Mr. and Mrs. Potato head as a kid. My favorite is the outfit. Great deals. Thanks Tiffany! It took me over a year to get this one together but I loved it once I did. Be patient and I’m sure you’ll find Mr or Mrs potato-head items for yours. I love the little dolls from WOW but hopefully she can get a manufacturer to make a slight change in the dress. It’s the perfect size for a box! Thanks for watching!

My granddaughter was playing with Potato Heads while here last weekend. It's her favorite thing to play with when she's here. 😊
Don’t you love it when kids take joy in a good old fashioned toy like potato-heads? So good to know your granddaughter enjoys them! My preschoolers loved them too! And the sweet doll will give her something soft to love. 💕 Thanks Denise!
What a great way to start the year! This box is adorable. I just ordered those dolls too and really like them. I didn't try to change the dress yet so that's good to know. Thought this box was so fun and that outfit is adorable and those clips are awesome!

Oh, I love this theme! Unique and so much fun to watch 😉 your freehand artwork on the lid is amazing. “Jesus is Spudtacular” I love that! I love the colors in the box - the yellows and reds. You found so many themed items. Wow! I love the doll and I am going to check out that website. Can’t wait for your next one. Can’t wait to see the robots lol.

Ohhhh we should have done a collaboration 🤣🤣. Absolutely love the rag doll and what a good idea to create an opening for the dress! Great deal at DG. I tried so hard (well, not really, I forgot) to get to the toy sale. They don’t throw those often. Those jingle wrist bells are one of my favorites but I can never find them on clearance. Great job to print up your cards. You do so many it’s definitely a challenge to hand write them all. Cute color forms too! Can’t wait to see what other fabulous ideas and boxes in store this year! So happy to see you back in business my friend!

I always loved the potato head toys. I generally do all 10-14 boy boxes so I really enjoy your 2-4 boxes. They are always so thoughtful and sweet.

Look at Dollar General. They have quite a few potato head items! Also DT! At least they did. They make for such a cute and fun box! Quality toy that gives so much joy! TFW my friend!

Hi Melinda! Nope, no bag in this one. Very tight box. One thing I’m also trying to do this year is not stress too much on having everything in the box. Sometimes that overwhelms me thinking the box is not perfect if it doesn’t have this or that. Pack as I am led and trust in the Lord to get it to the right child. Hope that makes sense. 🥰

I'm going to work on decorating shoebox lids this year. The soft doll is precious, as well as the iconic Mrs. Potato Head! I love the finger puppet puppy dog❤ The child receiving this gift has a variety of Mr./Mrs. Potato Head play items for them to enjoy😊

I got the bags on Amazon. Resealable cellophane bags. I got them in two sizes. They are flexible enough to not take up much space and have really helped me save time! Hope that helps! 🥰

I have heard that plastic boxes are preferred by the children because they like them for keeping it for storage as it is water proof how do you feel about that idea?

Cute box Denise ! Those little dolls are cute, but that's a bummer about the dresses. One of our area people tooks orders for those WOW soccer balls last year. She had a whole pallett delivered and then we picked them up at her house. This saved a lot on shipping.. I ordered 30 soccer balls for boy 10-14 boxes. I really like them and eager to pack them this year and the pumps are much smaller than the Dollar Tree ones. I like your art work !
Thanks Judy on the artwork! I’m having fun with it! Yeah, such a bummer on the dresses but I think someone has told her about it to see if future productions can be improved. She really is a darling doll! I might have to check out the soccer balls and pumps. Those DT pumps ARE big! How many boxes do you pack?
The last two years, I have packed 220 boxes each year. I live in a small place and it's truly a miracle that I can pack that many. I don't ever a goal, I just keep praying through the process. I ordered boxes yesterday and I have large baggies started with themed items much like you do. So, when I start packing it frees up room on my two sets of shelves in my spare bedroom. That is why I use the pictures on the end of my boxes because they are half full. I was able to pack more as I became less concerned about everything matching or being themed which is still hard for me. God has really been speaking to me saying, "Use what you have first"!!! I am project leader at my small church and we pack about 50, by people taking a box home and packing.
@@judyfrazier2462 you sound EXACTLY like me! My basement is small and as I pack up those themed bags, it gives me space for boxes. My house has stuff everywhere! Under beds, spare rooms, basement… you name it! At the end of the season I just start packing up what I have with no theme. Hard for me too but also enjoyable because less worried about everything being perfect. That is when I just keep packing until time runs out. Thanks for sharing! You just reminded me to order more boxes!!!!

I'm in the process of getting all of my stuff organized & I want to do hygiene bags as well. What size bags did you use for yours?
I used resealable cellophane bags in two different sizes. The smaller ones for the 2-4’s and the bigger ones for the others.51/2 x 81/2 and 3x7. Hope that helps! ❤
