I love this box so much! You took a very unique theme and used it to include practical items that are much needed, along with toys and games that will bring the young man fun for a long time. Clark Kent on the lid is perfect, and I enjoyed seeing all of the different superhero items. I also liked that you included prices of the items. You found some great deals - you're a pretty good business woman yourself! 😄

This is the first time I've seen a business man/hero theme. You rocked it gurl!!!!!! I know God already has the businessman minded boy selected to receive this amazing shoebox. I pray He accepts Jesus and spends his life serving our Awesome God.

Very unique theme, Trish! The wrapping paper is perfect and great inside lid decor. The tie teddy bear TY beanie baby is perfect! Very cool to add a tie. I do like you focused on the civilian life of Superheros. The dopp kit is full of goodies. I agree, most men use backpacks now instead of briefcases. Fabulous shirt! Super fun shoebox, Trish!! 👔👔👔

Oh my goodness this shoebox was delightful! What a great idea. I love the thought of sending a young man a box like this and preparing them for all the things that come with getting older. I definitely might have to start doing some of these things in my older boy boxes! Aaaah, so this is what you meant when you said super heroes with a twist- what they do in their regular jobs. This is cool, fun, unique! I think my favorite items in the box are the shirt (it really pops!), the spinner coloring book, and the yo yo. Great idea to add extra string. I don’t think I ever saw the spinner with the coloring pages when DT had them. I would have snatched those up. I always love finding a two for one lol. I love that you gave him a tie to match his hero bear. 🐻 👔🦸🏽♂️👨🏽⚖️
Thanks, Val. I found the spinner/coloring books at one of the DTs in Bridgeton. I stopped one day on my way home from the airport. I bought two, but I bought more. I didn’t see it at any other store.
What a handsome box Trish! I love the spin and the lid with Clark Kent! How fun! I remember that fidget spinner book when you found it and I tried and tried to find one to no avail! It’s a great item! I love his tie and Dopp kit! Love all the super hero touches in there! I think he will too! I had no idea about all of their jobs! 😂 of course I knew Clark Kent but not the others. I found those spinner/coloring books at only one store and it was a store that was not near me. Never saw them again anywhere else. Yes, I am so excited I’m getting some of these backpacks packed this year. Thank you my friend 🥰
I realized after watching this video I had no idea what a dopp kit was! I thought you were either saying doc kit or dog kit at first! 😂
Hehe, sorry, I actually meant to explain what it was figuring there might be some people who are unfamiliar with a Dopp kit, but I forgot 🫤. It’s basically just a big toiletry bag for men’s travel or to take to the gym or whatever.

Wow, great box I think an older boy will really appreciate these items. I've been regretting passing up some ties I came across the other day. I'm always looking for things for the older kids but I just wasn't thinking, I guess. Not the first time and won't be the last I'm sure. You really got a lot in there for this young man. 😃

You mentioned languages of the countries your boxes go to. How would us first timers find out where our boxes are going? I'd like to better curate items based on final destination. I was going to do a few boxes for the older boys/girls. I never thought of including a tie! Brilliant!
Allison, there really is no way to know for sure where are boxes will go each year. I have been following my boxes since 2018 and each year I find that they go to the same General locations. For me it’s been somewhere in Africa every single year and for a couple of years additionally they went to Ukraine. Africa, however, is a huge continent with many countries speaking many languages. From my research many of the African countries speak English or French as a first or second language. So, that’s why I chose those languages. Last year my boxes went to a hard to reach area and that’s all I know so far, so it could be anywhere in the world.
What a unique theme Trish! The teddy with the tie matching the one you included for this young man are wonderful! Great job getting the backpack in there. Very nice idea to add a hygiene bag for all of his personal items. I really love Irish spring soap🤣. It makes the whole box smell delish! Nice fidget spinner coloring book! The child that receives this will be ready for business!
