Victa tilt a cut 2 stroke

A Victa tilt a cut edger that I bought on eBay. Probably built mid 70's and still works a treat.

Know the feeling. I bought one off Gumtree & had it going a couple of times. I find it very difficult to start, temperamental in fact. Once it goes it does a great job!

That's not mid 70's more like early 80's but a great machine, I have one.

I thought the same thing. The early Tilt-A-Cut had the same engine cover as the Mayfair mowers. This looks early to mid-80s to me.

G4 carby came out in 1984 - not a mid 70's mower

+michael phillips The G4 carby came out earlier than that, I have a mid 70's VICTA mayfair and it has the G4 carby.

How do you tighten the belt? My belt keeps on falling off.
