Hi, Leigh, Nicky and Wim. After battling to remove that shopping trolley (happy you retrieved Wim's grappling hook, as well) you then had the unenviable task of pulling a massive safe out, too. Glad you were able to rope more people in to help out.
Nicky, you might have to start wearing a respirator in future if the stinky mud gets worse.

When you take the safes out they drop a lot of stuff before you get them out. So do a big magnet trawl from where you found it to the extraction point. André in Sydney

You should hang a towel or similar over the cable when winching, it prevents the cable from lashing back and potentially injuring anyone if the cable breaks
