Audio recording of 6570 as it approaches Redondo Beach, CA. This one squeals like a fast car doing burnout after burnout! I think it makes this bus sound even more badass.

Aww man! These were my favorite buses! THE FASTEST AND LOUDEST! I was a bus Operator, now a Controller for the Metro Rail, but these buses were the best! The oldest CNGs, but could out run any new bus! Those were the Cadillacs of the fleet! Too bad they had to be discontinued!

These Neoplans sounded so cool. I really wish I got to see them more often. I only rode them maybe once or twice when I was a little kid. They were retired when I was just 10, and I didn't start riding buses more often until I got to high school. LACMTA really should've kept these buses around a few years longer.
