- I was excited to catch this bus because it's the first in its series, but low and behold it held an extra surprise. At first I wasn't sure what it was, but I quickly realized the continued squealing is from the hydraulic pump/AC belt slipping. I've heard this many times in cars, but not normally in buses. This is an easy thing to quiet down, just by lubricating the belt, but we rode it again not even a week later and it was still squealing away. While it's not harmful for the engine (unless the belt burns and snaps, meaning no hydraulics), it just sounds really bad.

15:02 hella funny! I nearly spilled my tea and it almost went through my nose lol.
9:55 "is that 0175 AGAIN?"
"'Yes it is."'
17:24 the best sound you can hear of this bus
15:03 haha that's funny. You have a stalker bus and you always pull out your phone at the bus number in the time form.
Wow. That was surprising
That sounds like a belt squeal on the fan
Yeah, it's a belt squeel for sure. A VTA employee told me that it was likely the one for the AC and hydraulic compressors not the engine fan.
