Just because you did 5 years, if you get out and get new charges, they don't run "concurrently" with a sentence you already discharged. Yea. He should have used that 5 years to get it cleared while in jail and THEN he could have gotten concurrent time, if that is what he wanted. Now things have just compounded. This was all in his control, he just sat around ignoring it until it was out of his control.

TBH I don't think any of the court staff put 2 and 2 together on what was happening. I almost missed it. They were on a break when all this happened, and there was about a 20 minute silent period between the second spray and the judge popping up to start the docket. I edited for time sake. He was on the john for like 10 or 15 minutes. I edited most of that out... and the wiping, cause... some things should just be private. lol. I was just tellin' the story of how it began and how it ended... There's the slight possibilty that it might get back to the court that this happened after the fact, but who knows.
