1. Three sentence introduction.
2. 50% of proposal to be taken up with your audience data; 25 data points. What does your audience value? What are they trying to achieve? What purchases are they planning to make? Why should a sponsor care about your audience?
3. Understand your prospects motivation; you need to attract your prospective sponsors audience
4. Ask for permission to submit a proposal and during that conversation ask them what they want included in that proposal. Give them what they want and nothing else.
5. Include case studies. How you helped a sponsor get more sales...more test drives, engage their employees... grow their data base etc.
