  • A springtime ramble to a soundtrack of woodpeckers, great tits and robins. The blackthorn is in bloom, the trees are covered in mosses and lichens, and buds are bursting open on the willow trees. This episode ends with a teaser for the next few videos, which are all set in Cornwall - the place where I grew up. Oh, and you can all lust at the sight of my Gear Farm Pasty too. These tasty treats have been voted 'Best Pasty in Cornwall' several times and quite rightly too.
See you in Cornwall for the next episode.

Good sir, your videos are the very definition of "pleasantness." I also greatly appreciate your wildlife facts. Are you perhaps a naturalist?
In addition I greatly enjoyed you stopping at the Cornish restaurant and talking about its history with the pasties.
It was very pleasant to watch your video. Thank you from America.

Willows are next to unkillable. Salix caprea, if that is one, is called 'Palmkätzchen' at my place... lit. 'palm kitty' in English.
