To be honest not really sure, they normally play different songs through the train ride, especially after leaving Fort Boone.

Why do they play country music on the PA system of the train?

They are a Western themed train theme park, and also located in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. It gives the passengers something to listen to during the train ride. In person the train is still loud enough to hear going around the park, especially when the whistle is blowing. Dollywood does the same thing with their train ride.
