- Celibrating our 53rd wedding anniversary we took our daughter and granddaughter on the Andrews Valley Rail Tour. Its a peddle rail car that you peddle up the tracks for 5 miles, stop at an old railroad tunnel and explore, then make the return trip back. Very scenic.
Thank you for sharing! Beautiful scenery. You helped make up my mind to try this.

Oh... God... A dream made true... So peaceful and gorgeous places with peaceful people who's celebrating their 53th anniversary riding such lovely vehicle. God... thank you for sharing such big amount of happiness... I never thought the US would have such amazing places and so lovely people... I'm melting right now. I live in Argentina, where people fights for a piece of bread... I watch this and feel so good. Thank you!!!

So many unused rails in NC where this could be fun.
How much did it cost? Was it affordable?
I think the price today is around $59 per person. We enjoyed it.
The r trail rails are guide rails to keep derailed cars from moving too far off track.
Is it difficult to pedal and keep up?
You can go at your own pace. They try to space everyone out. It has electric assisted peddling, but you can use the electric only to take a break from peddling. Coming back is down hill so you are coasting some of the way.
No, it's not. My wife and I rode the rails in May with just the two of us on our car. We had a blast. We drove up from ATL. Well worth the trip. Taking the grand kids up in a few weeks.

You seemed out of breath...so everyone has to pedal even with the small motor to keep moving?
I'm 72 years old, and we were peddling a slight upgrade. There is an electric motor than helps with peddling. It wasn't bad, I'd do it again, pretty ride.
