The charities I used to do work for... where is the money going ? Mostly to the MD that is earning £150k a year that live a life of luxury for attending 12 meetings a year, bloody disgusting.
I was chatting to a man on a job,who used to work for a large well known charity . He told me he left after a huge humanitarian crisis happened in a country outside the UK , and a large contingency of so called management for this particular charity books flights to allegedly go and organize the distribution of aid . Not one person travelled economy. It was then , that this man said enough was enough . He wrote an email to the charity outlining his reasons for leaving , and telling them exactly what he thought of the use of the charities money , for expensive airline tickets . I already had my reservations about large charities , and this confirmed my views .

I’m irish and I remember when the smoking ban came in it was hilarious. The pubs were empty.
It was the same in Spain, hundreds of people just standing outside smoking and complaining about not being able to sit down in a bar
I was offended once... but then i remembered i am an adult and moved on.
