Simple rule of using credit card is " If you cannot buy something with your debit card then dont buy it with your credit card"
Ohh yes, read my comment. I follow this exact principle. Been doing that for 15 years now. If I'm unable to actually pay the credit back even if I don't get paid that month, I don't buy that item.
Then why should I opt for a credit card in the first place
@@saswatmohanty8132 when I was working in finance sector, I saw one applicant who earns in crore annually but he opts to buy TVS heavy-duty on loan. I was surprised he could have paid that money at once. total amount of 70000-80000 will be debited at once. rather he pays 3000-4000 monthly so he can manage the remaining money on other things. if u want to buy something buy at no cost emi.
But bhai i never bought anything expensive with my credit card all i did was take money out from credit card and lending it out to my so called "friends" ab vo na paisa vapas kr rha hai or na extra charges pay kr rha hai, muje chu**** bana diya.
Ab mai regret kr rha hu k kyu paisa credit se nikal k udhaar diya.
@@saswatmohanty8132 Because you get monthly rewards and discounts at some places. Even on amazon or flipkart while purchasing online you get a discount.
It's foolish. To be paying EMI for 24 months for an overpriced phone which will have become outdated by the time you clear the debt....and they take out a new loan for a new phone again. If you miss one EMI your SIBIL score will get spoilt and it will become difficult to borrow money for things that are actually worth.

I have been on the other side of Credit Card users i.e., the immature side. That was 10 years back. Now after learning my lesson I use multiple Cards for Monthly shopping only and make points. Which is then used to further reduce costs. My CIBIL score is 830 plus for nearly 8 years now. If I take any home appliance on EMIs its always zero interest and paid promptly. I never pay only minimum due, always full amount. My credit limit for my cards varies between 7 lakhs to 10 lakhs. Yet, my monthly overall bill never goes beyond 3k and overall utilization is 4 to 5% only. It was difficult but eventually I learned how to play the game of financial instruments. Be smart and all the best!
👍
3-4K monthly spending through credit card is nothing. You have not learnt the game of financial instruments. You are just not playing the game.
The key is to make as much use of credit card and pay full bills.

Best way to pay credit card bills is to schedule an NEFT just when you get the bill, for payment 1-2 days before the due date. Just ensure that sufficient funds are available in your account on the NEFT execution date. If the CC is of the same bank in which you have your account, activate auto debit facility for the total amount due

Credit card bill should be auto paid from your bank on the due date in full. You need not pay in full on the bill generation date, because that would be about 15 days before your due date. That is you will get 30 days from the last bill date. You can however pay in 45 days automatically on the due date, just ensure that automatic payment is done for full amount.

Am using credit cards for the last 20 years. Agree to the utube vlogger. Fiscal discipline is very important. When 4 shirts are enough, why buy 20 shirts? Can have an iphone easily of any mark. But never spend more than 20 thousand or rather 14000 on a mobile phone. All works are done and these phones such as Samsung, Redmi, Realme, One Plus are all dependable. I have one redmi note for the last six years. Play games on it successfully.
