Controversial Viewpoint
Goal should never be FIRE !!
It should only be FI that is Financial Independence
Which means you should not be dependent on a job / business that sucks blood and soul out of you to give you money instead
It should be "keep doing things which gives you happiness"
So one should aim for FI and not FIRE.
I love to troll people on YT
Finally someone 🎉 this is what we all actually need "fi" and not "re" and then just doing nothing which is pretty boring "for me".I would rather be fi and travel 2-3 months a year and just do the work that I like to do.
@@surajdey808 jo log sochte hain job mein soul le leta hain ekbaar business krke dekho khas krke medium business you will know good job is very very better
Agree! But we find the things we don't like more and easily than finding what we like and generate income on that.
That's why I use the Fi App. :P XD
My age is 53 and have retired successfully since march 2023 and continuing ahead. Routine life is set. This can be linked to a dialogue of film Singham " meri zarroretey hai kum, eesliyee muzmay hai dum." Please read and implement " from the rat race to financial freedom" by Manoj Arora.
But if you have to limit your expenses, is that financial freedom.
@@naughtyUphillboy I already calculated according to my lifestyle which is consistent...neither going up or down. Rest I already explained above. Point is that it is possible.

I am a qualified company secretary too with law degree but now I am moving to Canada in a couple of months due to low salary here and limited scope.
You made good money in quick time.

Retiring Early will make us work Hard and we don't waste our time here and there, If we planned our early retirement than we value our time and make every second productive. If we don't achieve our retirement as per our planed, it doesn't matter we can see that we have came so far than others and that give so much satisfaction.
I am retired at 32, with corpus of 20 Lakhs. now, I am living freedom life doing 8 hours Workouts , 8 Hours Sleep & 1-2 Hours Sports Bike Riding in beach Road.

I created my version of FIRE at 52. Left investments to grow (30:70 :: equity:fixed income, cut down on work (freelancer) and expenses, started living on low current income. Am still adding small amounts to my corpus. Won't say there aren't insecurities but life is good. Been 4 years. I stay busy with creative work and occasional freelance projects.
I want to work until 75 yrs of age if health permits. Keeping yourself busy is the most noble pursuit
Yes Wagie 🤣
If You love your occupation then it's possible
I agree
My grandfather followed the same logic. He is 95 years old and going strong. He got his LLB degree after his retirement and practiced law regularly till the age of 85.
What a sorry state. When you are free, you are confused due to slavish habits not knowing what to do with your life. Waste of life 😂
Very nice video giving a different perspective towards looking at this subject .
I am 29 and unmarried. My goal is to achieve financial freedom by the age of 42-43.
Best of luck
What do you do for living?
And in which asset class do you park your many?
What is your corpus?
You are smart, by not having kids and wife you don’t have to worry about 6 times of your future expenses. Also save enough and move to a small city and live peacefully. Don’t get into the fomo of not having a wife or kids. People who have them are not happy either and now they are slaves to shitty jobs in general. Several folks will ask you to get married but they will be no where when you will be stressed about money or expenses
As married man you can't take retirement, reason you all know .
😂 agreed 👍
Yes, you did raise some questions in my mind...Good content..Keep doing good research relevant to Indian population.
Very good content covering all the practical issues. Considering all these points one may plan for retirement. In my opinion one should try to enjoy the job and continue his job as long as the circumstances permit.
Thanks for the video.
Very good video Ranjan, keep posting such videos.
Accidentally landed in your video and subscribed immediately after the value you provide in this video. Great works!
Dont assume that early retirement doesn't mean you dont work at all post retirement..
You will start working on the things in which you are interested or you are passionate about.
That's the only plan
Even can start own business...and scale in grow it as much as u can
Cause u have lifetime income ..which already earned ...so now u can play with safer side
Great content..💫🙌..
Bahot bahot shukriya sir..🙏❤️
Excellently explained !! Great job !!!
I'm 29 (just married) and making 50L, and I'm planning to work for the next 10-15 years, even though i don't have big commitments. Planning to do organic farming after that in my land. Retiring early is a scam. Keep putting efforts till you die. SIMPLE
Finally someone making sense
50 lakhs? Which company are you working?
Correct 💯

No it's is not a scam but retiring early real meaning is you do what you want. Means follow your passion not after retirement.

I am 38, two kids, happily married and moved from corporate at my own terms..to be honest, if you have 10-12Cr under your belt, think of this concept and enjoy..if not, don’t go for it you’ll regret!! If you’re on FIRE, develop a habit and look for new avenues in life..

Sirf Financial Freedom hona chaheye. Retirement ki jaldi nahi hai mujhe. Bus jo unstable job market hai aajkal ki, lay offs ki tension durr ho jaaye. FI se Layoff hone par tension nahi rehti.

If you cannot save more than 50% of your income, you cannot retire. Early or late, you cant retire.
Mein retire hua 55 par. Old age Kharcha bahut Kam ho jaata hai.. medical insurance sabse zaroori hai.

Very good video with good analysis on Indian context
2 things , as you rightly said, Indians do not have hobby. Very true. We are just obsessed with money and daily routine. People in west actually go on a hike , do some sports, go swimming, or any thing else in weekend, while we either watch TV or go to a mall and spend money.
The second thing what you said about situation of your kids doing the same rat race. Why don't instead invest in your kids name. Like putting 1.5 Lper yr in PPF account from the day he was born and keep it funding until he starts earning. He will have a huge corpus to start his life.
Well said but One thing you missed is we poke in to others nose.😂
Hv u met all foreigners or hv u met all 140 cr indian...
By which u r saying indian dont hv interest n hobbies
Indians have low salaries, more working hours, no safety net like social security

I'm 21 and have a passive income business which pretty much makes me retired. You're right, its very lonely. I haven't gone out of my house for 3 months now, even if I do go out, Who will I talk to? where will I go? My friends are all in different states and moved on with their lives. I'm in the phase where I'm not making crazy amounts of money that I can travel the world but I make enough that I can, not work.
Thank you so much sir..... very nice video.... 👌

Enjoy ur life rather than making money

At 25yr age start Rs 10000-12000 per month investment in stepup SIP in index fund alongwith 10% escalation in investment for 15yr can give 1 crore funds to retire at 40yr rest this amount can further be investment to generate money to meet ur daily expenses. but live minimalistic to keep ur expenses sustainble while invest in your heath from 40yr to live atleast 80yr.

I m 30 and recently started saving and investing in mutual funds and stocks.
I am not going to get my hands into something mentally/financially draining like marriage/relationship etc.
So is it possible to get retired as early as 40-45 years of age?
I am investing 40k(30k in mutual funds and 10k daily stock/intraday etc) which is 90% of my income and I'll keep on investing 90% of my income till 40-45 years of age.
