Hello Super Fiends! Thanks for joining with me as we take a look at the brand new Mattel DC Multiverse Batman Ninja wave of action figures. This wave include 4 Titans characters, Nightwing, Starfire, Beast Boy, and Wally West Flash. This wave also consists of John Stewart Green Lantern and the TV Series Black Lightning.

I get mine on Amazon because of that same reason Target sometimes has them but not often.
It's because alot of mainstream people prefer Marvel more cuz their movies are doing better then DC đ

I mainly wanted Starfire and Beast Boy out of this line, going back to the convention previews of the prototypes... I think these look okay, for the most part. But, the QC issues, and the seeming lack of scaling them all complimentary to one another, really is bothersome to me. Unlike a few other figure lines that put a lot more effort into those kind of things. Iâd say that Iâm mildly disappointed on those levels. But, at the same time, on an individual basis, Iâm much more impressed than I thought Iâd be by some of the figures in this wave that I hadnât been looking for.

I would still want them to complete the Teen Titans shelf that I'm planning on getting, any ideas on which Raven figure I use? I think the DC Universe Classics one but idk
I wish Hasbro could have this line and treat as good as there Marvel legends.
They're pretty much the exact same figures. Makes no difference who made em. Mcfarlane were a much better choice.
@@symbiote1982pk Yeah, this video is the first time Iâve checked out DC from mattel and Iâm actually surprised how similar it looks to marvel legends.
@@symbiote1982pk mcfarlane would be great if it were 6" scale, they're missing out on my business. All lines should have made their figures 6" scale since that is the original scale used when figures started getting articulation early 2000s
if only mattel would actually ship these out to stores so we could hunt for them and look at them, either way 150% i'm picking these up

So disappointed they changed star fires hair. The solicitation pics had more translucence and orange tips near her bangs.
This is a nice wave....that I'll never find at retail.
Great video Brad, love the production value and details like the comic name logos before each characters review.
Was really hoping Mattel would give it their all and go out with a bang. The prototype for Starfire was gorgeous. Instead seem to be going out with the same whimper they been giving all along sadly. More than ready to see what McFarlane has for us.
Once the final wave of Multiverse is released I will do a big fat look-back video showing the good and the bad. As much as Mattel has done some great things over the years it really does seem like itâs time to pass the torch.

UPDATE: After swearing off buying any more action figures for awhile, I found myself ordering BLACK LIGHTNING from Entertainment Earth. Oh, well... I wants it!
Mattel is pulling out ALL the stops this year. Gotta push out as much toys as they can before they can't make any D.C. figures anymore.
I donât even get to see these waves the last wave of figures I saw was the lex Luther cnc wave and that was back in December that was the last time I saw that wave never again the only new things Iâve seen is the Shazam wave

Great video brad. I know you donât like people giving you suggestions about your reviews but many people like me would definitely appreciate it if you included the actual height of the figures instead of just comparisons. Thank you and keep up the great work!!!
Not at all. I don't mind taking suggestions. Some people can be a little rude or smug sometimes. I don't appreciate that sort of thing but I'm always pen to Super Friends making suggestions.As for the measure, I was planning on it months ago actually because it was suggested. And then I lost my ruler. I just need to get one handy to my review area so I can remember. :-)

I really wish i could get that Black Lightning, i have a thing for live action heroes and that Black Lightning would be a great addition to my "live action" DC Heroes collection, great job as always, keep it up!!!!

Starfire's energy attacks are called Starbolts.
I remember getting a Black Lightning toy when I was a teenager in the 90s Has to be the only time he was wearing a red and black shirt with a collar. I'm surprised you don't have a copy. You've got every DC toy I could imagine.
Despite the quality control issues, I'll defiantly be getting the Wally West Flash for my collection. But I had to repaint the face of the Kid Flash from the previous wave. It was supper messy.
Could these issues be because Mattel doesn't have the DC license any more, so they don't care?
Man some good figures and decent ones....But Iâm only interested in the Build-a-Ninja Batman, Black Lightning, starfire and Night Wing.

That Batman Ninja is beautiful. Beast Boy too. Not my scale but very, very tempting.
Okay, for me, most of these are a must, like I really want any of the titans. Black Lightning, Ninja Batman, and John Stewart, a bit less so, but still pretty nice.
Beast Boy being large is a little odd, but I'll probably have him in a crouching pose, anyhow.
I haven't even seen the lobo wave at my local stores...
These are absolutely sick!!! Canât wait to get them all (except nighwing, I already have the missions one)
Hope they make a Batman who laughs and red death figure soon or some more rebirth figure like Sideways,God speed or Superman of china or a firefly figure similar to the 2004 Batman animated series
You should clean up that excess flash on Nightwing's jawline.
That's the plan. After filming I tend to clean the figures up but I leave things as-is for the review so as to be transparent.
Pretty surprised to see a BAF Batman. With the countless Batman versions and variants we've seen over the decades, you'd think Mattel wouldn't hesitate to make a Ninja Batman readily available on its own.
Good set of stuff some messy spots wally i like most, ninja batman is very well done also there called a starbolt.

Can other figures hold the sword well? I'm specifically wondering if my Katana figure could hold Batman's Katana.
From what I observed, there are no physical retail storw that stocks Mattel DC Multiverse anymore.
At least the closest stores to me in Washington.
However, last month I saw the Lex Luthor wave at Target......
Starfire's effect parts are starbolts. (I am a big Titans nerd lol)
Starfire looks the best and really accurate to the comics.
Iâm so glad I collected icons and Essentials instead.
Marco I really liked the Icons line, essentials, not so much.
TheFaintofHearts2113 I cherry pick the line nightwing,batgirl,joker, even Superman came out really nice. They also seem to mix on scale wise a little bit better with other DC collectibles. Take a second look amazon has them on sale off and on. Nightwing was 17$. SOLD!!!

They don't use brushes, it's all factory painted.

I sold my dcuc starfire for this multiverse version so I hope i get to see her in stores... the scale is bothering but I can make things work with poses...also held of on getting the dcuc beast boy for this multiverse smh...still trying to get this wave Iâm a huge titans and teen titans fan

Glad I didnât preorder these now; most all of them turned out pretty disappointing imo. Nightwing and John Stewart are especially downgrades from the dcuc versions.
I would have to say I disagree with you about Nightwing as far as his facial sculpt. I really prefer this news ones head. If I end up getting a second one I'll be doing a boil and pop. lol
Brad The DC Universe Geek yeah the new head on the dcuc body does sound like the ideal look for sure. The lack of sculpted detail for his costume is just what really sets them apart for me

Still have yet to see the lobo wave hit my stores and you already got this wave! Smh I hope the next dc carrier isnât as bad as mattel...the only new things I see is that Shazam wave which is totally peg warmers ...sigh I guess Iâd have to pay extra I want most of this wave except for the cnc and black lightning, he looks cool but I want a rebirth comic version of him

FYI hey do pay homage to the comicbook version of black lightning in 2 S1 flashbacks. that starfire .... not as good as the icon one I got for her Redhoos & Outlaws look. Nightwing always seems to come out great.
