I love how Toms facial expressions change as they go through these cars. You can see when he wants to say it's trash/knackered but he holds back and finds polite words for it 😂
Have a P38 myself, 2.5 Diesel though! Bought it from a farmer, lying dying in his field ready to go the the scrap yard in the sky. In steps me, bought it, fixed a ton of things on it (fixed and kept the air suspension too) , brought her back to life! Drove her to Budapest from Ireland, lived there for a year travelling to countries surrounding Hungary, drove back home to Ireland via 8 countries. The old girl only ever needed diesel and that was it! Can’t wait to see the rest of this series and how your P38 performs.

Just started watching this while mindlessly scrolling through Facebook memories... this was the exact day 5 years ago I bought a 4.6 as a short-term winter runaround.
I absolutely love it, out of all the cars I own, my P38 is the one I'd never sell. Find a good one and theyre epic!!
Most of Australias taxi fleet ran on LPG for 30 years, really cheap to run and very reliable once they started injection.

Can't wait for the rest of this series! Just took my 2001 1.1 Peugeot 106 on a 1800 mile round trip of Scotland from Norfolk and had a blast! Car didn't fail me at all. I did however put it in a ditch at one point when driving on snow but got it out unscathed 😂

Ah yes, the falling headliner is just a classic P38 move. The best part is the rotten glue that rains on your head. And no, it doesn't have a locked diff it's the central viscous coupling wich is broken/locked up like mine is, nothing dangerous but makes the car jumpy in thight corners. Helps in slippery condition but it's a travasty during parking.

I had a P38 2.5diesel I smashed it up every green lane I could and it had original air ride which worked too. And I did 6k miles in it and the car never faulted once. Never failed to start never broke down nothing. Was one of the most reliable cars I've owned

I'm currently dailying my 2001 4.6 Vogue P38 and it's happily done 800 mile round trips! Admittedly it's in better condition than this one but they really are great cars, underrated for sure but people seem to be appreciating them a bit more now!

I remember those redbull cars, is there a video on it? Although, what I really want a video on, by ANYONE is the TorchWood Range Rover which I believe is a P38 w/crazy body kit & facelift upgrade and cool TorchWood-y stuff.
