2024 is a year of starting your own business time badal gya h ab bahut ....IT job bhi waqalat mechanical ,civil ki tarah traditional aur conventional ho chuka h
There are still layoffs going on in market but not everyone posts it on social platforms.
And I have recently seen that companies are not giving the hikes that they were giving back in 2021-22.
Most have resorted back to old calculation of EXP *2.5 max ( this is wrt 7+ exp)

Cognizant me freshers aur laterals ka bohot bura hal hai. Har din jab office jata hoon jadatar freshers log kahi mahino se project dhund rahe hai aur inko mil bhi nahi Raha hai. In logo ka HR ultimatum bhi mil Raha hai ki 1 mahine ke andar koi project dhund lo yah phir resign kar do. Mere kuch lateral friends bade bade packages leke bench pe hai mahino se. Uske upar Hike bhi Cognizant ne Hike ko 4 month delay kar diya. Ab yeh bhi sunne me aa raha hai ki promotion ka structure bhi change karenge. Kya chal raha pata nhi.
Completely agree...I am also facing the same. I joined as a lateral in Feb 2024 but till now no projects in Cognizant

Cognizant mei join karne ke baad project milne mei 2-3 months time lagta hai. Nothing to worry 😊 usually allocation bhi dete hai during this time, so it's not bench

I have a query regarding TCS hiring. Kindly help me to know about it. I humbly request you to tell me if TCS can hire a candidate who has no degrees in Engineering or CS. Well, sir, I do not have any degree in Engineering or CS. Instead, I am one of those enthusiastic and self-motivated candidates who have a simple graduate degree in Bachelor of Arts (BA) from a reputed college of Delhi University. But coding & programming is my hobby which flows into my blood with oxygen. I have done some good Azure Data Engineering and Java Full Stack Development projects using Linux and apart from that I have good experience in Leetcode and HackerRank and have also contributed to some open sources. I really wish to join TCS. Is it possible?

1) Check whether the opening is there for AWS cloud related job in Tietoevry and Bajaj Finserv Direct Limited in these companies in Pune and check any other companies also for the same.
2) If you not find any job in Cloud domain and if you are good or comfortable in Windows/Linux Administration or operations, so for time being you can try for those kind of jobs for initial for 1 or 2 years and once you get experience after that, try to search job in Cloud domain again. Because companies need those candidates who can manage Windows or Linux Servers in Public cloud and if you have experience in that, so you can get job easily in Cloud domain. This is my opinion or suggestion, you can proceed as per your plan or decision or choice.

@@ab.cd.e ok, check whether is there any openings is there in "U & D Square Solutions Pvt. Ltd." this company or not, this company have mostly openings for freshers for Support roles or profiles. Also check for job openings on Naukari and Linkedin both platforms and other platforms also.

ideally true... but not 100%
Not directly but they will create such scenarios that you will be forced to leave yourself.
Eg. They will make you relocate to Banglore etc if your Home location is mumbai.
They will find some fault in your Graduation% or HSC SSC and say we need 65% throughout even after 5-7+ yoe
PIP is the most popular option.
Make you stay onbench so long leading to red flags. There are many other ways

Try for start up. In MNC you wont get good dev projects. Its always ur skill which gives security

@@manojgaur9364no it will not...may be you will not get a good package on your first job but after having experiences u can do great.
No, marks doesn't matter once you gain 2-3 yrs of experience. I'd suggest you to join a small company and work for at least 3 years and learn a lot of things. You can easily get 2x or 3x salary increase in any MNC after that.
